@FuturedaveyP start low and work your way up, if you stick with it, youll reach the highest setting and will be able to use it on its highest setting with out a problem, thats when you know your abs are strong.

@keabler77 Yes you can, but you cant expect to get good results if you just put it on your arms or legs. You have to workout your arms and legs as well. This belt won't give you the arms or legs you want on its own you have to work at it. This belt is basically a toner for your muscles.
