Stock up on food water now have plywood to board up windows deadbolts for doors ammo and medical supplys and you will have a better chance then most. If this does occur people will kill for water and food. If you dont have alot of money the cheapest thing to buy for food is white rice it lasts forever also collect old bottles and jugs clean em fill them with water its alot cheaper than buying bottled water. extra blankets and cloths if you live in areas where winter is cold.

This is called a sunspot cycle which occurs every 11 years. Last 11 years the energy of the sun spot was about 20% but Nasa is now predicting that it will be 50%-60% larger tha it was. Once this will hit us this will damage all electricity around the whole world which will not let us get any water or food. You are correct in one way. The rumored end of the world in dec 21/12 is a hoax; however, we are reaching a solar maximum which may cause some problems for us by the suns activity. This has been verified by nasa and various news sources. The extent of the damage that may be caused is up for debate.

We already know that the suns activity can disrupt communications and maybe even mess with electricity though.

We may not have the same infrastructure, but the solar storm of 1958 didn't knock out all electrical infrastructure of that time.. or even most.. or even a significant amount of it.. It only affected a small area's electrical infrastructure and they didn't possess the safeguards that we have today. In order to be annoying, the solar storm would have to be10 times LARGER than that one... and it would have to go on for a long time so that more area was affected

All these videos and articles are based on no more than pseudo- science and very bad astrology. There have been scores of people over the years that have written about the 2012 date based on and from the Mayan calendar since at least the 1970's along with other predictions and it's all been bullshit! Which, is what all this is now, nothing more than bullshit. "Event Horizons", "Nibiru", Planet X, all bullshit. There are solar flare ups that can cause trouble but, I wouldn't hold your breath.
