  • i got goosebumps. this is sick.

  • God is so Good!! Praise Him!!

  • im autistc - Asperger syndrome please tell me shud i bee nba player or rapper im good at basket ball i am 10 i can can nearly do 3 pointer but im not that good at rhyming please inbox me or coment

  • This story is so touching, and people who don't understand autism are making comments that he doesn't seem autistic. You would have to be around someone who has autism. The spectrum is so, so wide. My son is autistic and he struggles with language, but he is so sweet, loving, and caring of others. It hurts me to see him pushed aside by people because they don't know how to interact with him. He is sometimes treated like a throw-aside, so yes it warms my heart to see a story like this.

  • Relax everyone the kid is not even that disabled, they exaggerate his disability to sell the story.

  • I don't know if I've met people as happy as those "tainted" by autism. So what if they are challenged in ways that others aren't? I see "average" people that struggle with all sorts of things everyday, including me. Struggle is inevitable. But most of the autistic kids I've seen, they don't care about their limitations. They enjoy life more than anyone, and really, what more is there to life then that? Blessings and accomplishments are nothing without happiness.

  • honestly i can hardly tell this guy is autistic...

  • i just got the chills

  • Relax people the kid is not really that disabled, and the other team didn't try to defend him and just let him shoot so he could feel happy about himself. He just shot a few baskets it's really not anything that great.

  • @JonniDDR Shut the hell up, you ungrateful bastard!

  • @Deasy002 watch watch the J-Mac says on some of the other videos, he knows he's not that disabled he says it himself. The media exaggerated his disability to sell the story to sheep like you.

  • Do you know anything about autism. You should learn about before you try to say what life is or is not and before you call other people sheep.

  • @Deasy002 How is he ungrateful? Are you aware of the meaning of the term?

  • just AMAZIIING :'( :'(

  • this would make a great movie!!!

  • It's amazing how the people who are considered not to be the normal always touch so many lives.

  • Let's focus on this awesome young man and his parents, not on the coaching staff.

All coaches are under constant pressure to use players that will be the most successful and win. Maybe this story will insprire them to let others try even though that won't be a popular choice.

  • @arnejess We didn't vacinate our second child as our first who was vaccinated had allergic reactions with all his immunizations and is now diagnosed with autism. Not taking that risk again

  • Great inspirational video

  • 14 people are blind and can't hear

  • hurrr

  • Stop the vaccination of our children! Research relations between vaccination and autism..

  • Bet that coach felt like a retard for not putting him into the game years earlier. Who wants to bet Jason was limited ONLY by the myth that he was "supposed" to be limited, not by any actual limitation?!

We need to get off hamstringing kids by using titles to make ourselves feel better.

  • @mowriter Yes the coach is an asshole for treating J-Mac like the team's waterboy when he had a perfectly capable player on the bench.

  • @mowriter A friendly request you not use the word "retard." Those of us who work with people like Jason, and others with physical or mental disabilities find this word to be highly offensive. I'm sure you didn't mean to offend, but if you should ever encounter a person like Jason in your life please know that language can help or hurt.

  • @GoodwillHeartland : I appreciate the comment - please read my comment: I was calling the COACH that. NOT the kid who obviously is HIGH FUNCTIONING. Certainly I'm not going to call Jason that name.

  • @mowriter Sorry my comment was confusing - my point was that using this word to describe anyone for any reason is something we are trying to put an end to. No question your intentions were the best.

  • @GoodwillHeartland Appreciate that. This must be one of the more polite disagreements on youtube...ever (LOL). Couldn't imagine being a jerk to Goodwill folks (LOL again).

  • "Why me, Why us!?"

Lol egoistic dad. He should feel bad for his son instead.

  • Comment removed

  • @linkenski Feel bad huh? Autism People are born different - that's all they are intelligent - capable and loving human beings... why would anyone feel bad for them... different isn't a bad thing... normal people scare me -watch the movie.... feel bad for people that have negative feelings about autism... they are the ones with a disability....

  • @vialisa When people say they feel bad about someone being or recently diagnosed with Autism, the idea isn't that they feel sorry for an Austic person being who they are, it's that they feel sorry for what they have to go through in terms of social life and the many challenges they face such as bullying and teasing.

  • Who is 14 bastards that dislike this Video ? Get a life !

  • This sucks and is a media circus that neglects many facts about this story that would take away from the perceived "achievement" of the j-mac and this douchey coach.

  • Amen for you Son, amen

  • If you support this douche, you are reported and will always be RETARDED like autistics.

  • @syzygy501 fuck u

  • i so fuckin hate autistic people

  • @syzygy501

What the eff is wrong w/ you?!?!?!?!? The kid was born with a disability, it doesnt make him any different from you or me. That lady was explaining a story about her son, thats a terrible thing to say. If anything you should be the one to go somewhere and get out of here, you sick person.

  • Wow how amazing...I am a mother of a 9 yr old son named Sabastian he is a very low functioning autistic child. I love my son more than life itself, but even so I often find myself crying for him an the challenges he faces. It's nice to see such a great story an for people to get the chance to understand our children who are so special. Sad but a lot of times people don't try to get to know children like ours....if they did they would find that it's a blessing an they have no need to fear it.

  • @MsLiberatedAngel Go kill your son bastard.

  • Happy AUTISM Awareness Month!

  • @oPhatal - You are begging on your hands and knees for autistic people to bring a fucking riffle and blow out your fucking brains all over the fucking walls!

  • he shouldve been a starter lol

  • What a bunch of angry little trolls, can't handle looking at a few other facts of this story.

  • @JonniDDR Good for you. People are so naive of Jason. People worship him as a hero? For doing what? The people who like him simply are losers who can't stand the facts or anyone's statements but themselves. I need you to get a few friends on youtube so they can also dislike this load of rubbish. Tell them to get different accounts everyday so the number of dislikes can go up.

  • @syzygy1011 It's about time someone was able to see this story for the half-true media circus it is. Good for little J-Mac he scored a few baskets (undefended) but at what cost? Instead of learning how to read or do math or do anything useful this jackwagon shot baskets all day long. What kind of parents would encourage this? I would tell him to get a book or help him learn some manners, because he has none.

  • @JonniDDR Thank you. All this is is a media circus. He made a few baskets, so what. Why does he go on SportsCenter. This has been my argument. Jason doesn't have a job, or home. 99% of the schools in America wouldn't have let him play anyway because of his grades. They left him unguarded. I could make 6 3s out of 12 tries. I went 8-10 guarded. If I got this type of special treatment, I would be going to the moon. Why do people worship him as a hero. He's not a hero. He's only a retarded teenager

  • @syzygy1011 Actually he does have a job, sometimes schools hire him to come into the school for the day and roam around acting like a douche bragging about this "magical" game. His other job is at Wegman's putting cakes on a shelf. What a piece of shit this story is. It stinks. Why does everyone praise this coach, also, the coach is a douchebag he only let the handicapped boy play one time. J-Mac should have got a few minutes in at least 2 or 3 other games.

  • @JonniDDR Schools let him do that?? Oh good gosh. He goes around to people and talks about his experience? SMH. You've made me madder now. LOL. What was so great about his performance. People have hot streaks. Also, putting cakes on a shelf is not much of a job. Also, I don't know why the coach let him in anyway. I mean, he shouldn't of been playing. I actually compliment the coach for not letting him in the other games. He's not even that good, really. Put a little pressure on him, he air balls

  • @syzygy1011 Yeah I have heard reports of his school visits, he just kind of wanders around the hallway acting like a big douche and then at the end of the day they let him have some kind of fundraiser / pep-rally basketball game with teachers against students. I disagree about the coach, I think since J-Mac's whole life was basketball he at least deserved some more time. Now what good did that do J-Mac in life? He is still a douche and he still can't really put cakes away properly.

  • @JonniDDR He spent his whole life shooting baskets, so I guess I can understand why the coach wanted to put him in there. I can compliment the coach for that. He did deserve more time on the floor if he were that good. I'm thinking though that why he didn't was that if you put a hand in his face, he would air ball everything. I can commend the coach for doing that. The coach at least is a good person who helps out the kids. But Jason doesn't do anything in life. Why does he go around to schools?

  • @syzygy1011 To be honest , I think he goes into schools because a lot of teachers and principals even are idiots like the cheerleaders of this story that comment here on YouTube. So even school principals are fooled by a media circus into thinking this story is really amazing instead of the half-true media farce that glorifies the wrong things.

  • @JonniDDR SMH. Wow. Even principals can be fooled. A new one for me. LOL. I see why now we have so many sissies on here. All of em' are imbeciles and buffoons. Well, I hope I can convince a few people.

  • GO JASON!!!

  • ay dude that guy is talkin shit bout an autistic kid i think hes far worse

  • Keep in mind that the other team was instructed by their coach not to defend this kid. They laid off of him and gave him time and open shots. In person this kid is really rude and obnoxious. All he did during his childhood was practice shooting baskets instead of learning manners, math, or anything else important. I think this story is very misguided and glorifies the wrong things.

  • @JonniDDR You fucken dick! What in hells name if your problem, why the fuck cant you be happy for this guy. Youre fucken goin to hell, why in fucks name would you write shit like that, oh and guess what many professional basket ball players "All he did during his childhood was practice shooting baskets instead of learning manners, math, or anything else important." as you say, god damn dick fucken burn in hell

  • @SkateandCreate831 you act worse than that johniddr

  • Comment removed

  • @tadwight30 how does a kid with autism deserve to get picked on? your comebacks are the stupidest things ive heard. you don't even know how big i am and you being able to beat me up doesn't make you right. you can still be a fucking dumbass that deserves to rot in hell. whether you can beat me up or not doesnt change who YOU are

  • Comment removed

  • @tadwight30 i really hope you're just trolling because my cousin doesn't pretend to not be able to talk so that people will "feel sorry" for him. and there's no reason to feel sorry for people with special needs.

  • Thank you. You gave me hope.

  • sure, but even when unguarded alone in the gym it isn't easy to hit 6 three's in a row. Take the nerves and excitement he must have been feeling and it's a pretty amazing story.

  • uh look at the people gaurding him.

  • and they put a remote control into the ball so that it could be steered in the basket Who cares what is behind the story - he had an amazing 5 mins and made many people smile

I bet you're the type of guy who loves to make little kids cry - i hope one day you learn to bask in the warmth out of a story - it might help you grow a heart!

  • So what about that??? they decided that in order to make him feel special....

And I am 16 years old I have been misunderstood by some people my Autism it is not like cancer you can do anything with it I have been misunderstood w/ my disability everybody w/ or w/o Autism is just as special = equality DUH! Not so sound rude!

I can play Baseball/Softball aint no stoping me

  • Comment removed

  • @TonyBaierFan keep it up buddy I too have aspergers but just like u my love for life and movies never put me off for anything less. I have a wonderful GF for a year and a half, have a nephew born a couple of months now, and just like you, ain't no stopping me either.

  • @TonyBaierFan People with Asperger's suck, man.

  • @TonyBaierFan keep up the good work man i am 34 years old and when i was in high school i swam played football and ran track i have agenesis of the corpus callosum and to this day i play mens league softball and have been since i was in high school i play men's league basketball as well and i coach at the middle school and high school level for basketball and football do i let things stop me hell no i keep working to my goal

  • Comment removed

  • @TonyBaierFan .. You are awesome! I see things like this and think what a lazy fat ass I am! This inspires me!

    Enjoy your day!

  • @TonyBaierFan If you're autistic, go hang yourself.

  • @syzygy10111 I hope you burn in hell.

Nvm thats to good for you.

  • @oPhatal No, if anyone, it should be you. Spreading hate around the world and you blame the people who have a life. Another autistic scumbag you are. All autistics are useless scumbags. You have been reported.

  • @syzygy10111 I'm spreading hate?

    LOL

  • @oPhatal Yes, you are spreading hate. You want autistics to overthrow the government so they can persecute everyone else. YOU WILL AGREE WITH ME.

  • @syzygy10111 First of all I dont think that so stop assuming things.

I just think should have more respect. Som autistic kid dropped out of my school because of bullying. Im not spreading hate I'm spreading a cause

  • @oPhatal The reason why that autistic bitch dropped out is because he wanted people to feel sorry for him. He should hang himself for being autistic. Autistics have no place in American society. Also, you are not spreading a cause but you are spreading hate and discord and you will change your ideals.

  • @syzygy10111 NO he was forced to drop out because of faggots like you.

  • @oPhatal Even if that is the case, I would give the faggots a medal. What they did is right. Autistics should have no place in American society. If someone would blow them all up, that would make me happy. The fact that you can't stand us telling real facts about this bullshit story is that you have no lives and are wanting to make yourselves feel better. My life is not revolved youtube, unlike yours, so stop spreading hate around these youtube sites.

  • @syzygy10111 stfu. What if you had autism or worse, then how would you feel if ppl were takling about killing you because of that. Dont be so heartless and learn to accept ppl for who they are.

  • @TonyBaierFan , I am a mother of a 13 yr old boy with Aspergers named Ian. (He hates that label!) And I finally got to see this today after finding the book. Your comment is RIGHT on. equality DUH!!! I cried the entire time I read the book and watched this clip. Anything is possible. Achieve your dreams!

  • so inspired..

  • Don't pay attention to the ones who can't do anything more than call people names or hurt people. Why act like that? They should see how it makes them look. Someday, they'll need friends, when they have some need they can't change.

  • Jason's and Eric's stories - that's what it's all about. Awesome, just awesome. Autism (or any other condition) does not make a person less able or less of a person. It only means you have to find ways around the limits. Show the world.

  • Man...JonniDDR has it our for this kid.

Seems like on every video of JMac, this JonniDDR has to talk trash. What a loser.

  • that kid is wet

  • my gosh, some of you are so ignorant. are you seriously calling this boy the "retard"? wow wow wow. i dont know who some of you think you are. this is a heartwarming story about a nice boy. get over yourselves. some people can be such idiots. this may not be a big deal to some of you, but for this boy it was, and i dont get how you cant be happy for him?

    GET OVER YOURSELVES!

    whos the "retard" now

  • a douche just like you,,,,you are just envious,...loser...fag...asshole..moron,

  • what d fuck is d big deal? he made some shots big whoop

  • yaa remeber this 'retard' is autistic. let's see you shoot 6 for 8 with 4:19 left in the last game of the year in a highly intense game...u should go die now u rude fuck!! good job jason don't let fucking dumb-asses like this keep u down.

  • yea same 2 u 2, it didn't take u too long to reaspond...

  • JonniDDR, I notice your profile is anti many things. I suggest you move anti-handicapped to the top of your list. It's a shame your purported sense of social justice doesn't extend to people with disabilities. Like so many who claim to want better for humanity, you actually hate people. I suspect it is simply self-loathing turned outward.

Understandable, there is much about you to loathe.

  • I'm slightly autistic and I don't like how people act in groups. I really don't like people, especially the social aspect of them.

  • dude why must there always be spineless mindless dicks on youtube? the dude has a brain disorder, he's not like you. get the fuck off, people like you fail in life. And i bet that's the case cos ur getting fucked up the ass by some random dude you don't know by the name of earl right at this very moment i type this so gtfo.

  • I was at a church camp and we got into small groups of 3, my friend and I invited this boy into our group. His name was Ben. We knew he seemed shy but we thought he was just shy. Later another friend we had met through the camp talked about how this boy insisted on staying in his cabin and read. He said he depressed the cabin. We thought of ben and when we asked what his name was, we found out it was Ben. We went to see him and talked to him. We became his friend.

  • We got this poor boy to smile, and laugh some too. We made his day full of cheer, instead of him sitting on his bed all day alone. When came was over the next day, we saw him when we were all leaving, we walked over to him to say bye. And gave him a hug. He smiled real big. His smile made our day just as we made his. In the car ride home, we found out he was autistic. This affected my friend and I so much. We just hoped everyone could be so giving and loving to all.

  • NO CHILD IS A RETARD...the only retards would be the ppl who are calling children retards..its ridiculous and all they lookin for is some attention on some youtube...make ppl lash out and get pissed off...idiots

  • how the hell would you know

  • y 'all cheq it out my vid baller12game type it in plz it's my first one

  • I don't get why people watch such an amazing video and feel as though they should exercise their freedom of speech and write a whole bunch of horrible crap and bad language. Watch the video for what it is, a great video! If you feel the urge, go hang out at the mall and talk trash with your loser friends!

  • whats your problem dude? your picking on a autistic kid. do you have no morals whatsoever?!

  • uh he does have autism.
