  • fickell destroys that guy at 0:33

  • That was a sick video

  • Lots of non-eddie george plays in here.

  • Damn the music is awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwfullllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Number 20 for the Illini is my cousin Trevor Starghill. I was at this game!

  • with this team i cant believe they didnt win a national championship! if Tressel was coaching them they would of made it and won for sure!

  • I dont understand youtube anymore. What your saying is that I can find highlights of Eric Dickerson's high school games but not Eddie George in the fucking NFL. Bullshit youtube!

  • 1:35.... that block

  • Eddie gorge is simply Beast

  • i miss eddie

  • Liked the video but damn, the backgroud music is HIDEOUS!!!

  • ROFL.

    fail at 0:38

look at 27 or 37 not sure.

  • eddie sucks in the nfl now

  • @purpsmaster u sniffin??? Eddie George was a beast.. Look what team he played for.. They didn't have the greatest offensive line..

  • @ice9izzle20009 it dont matter what team yyou play for haha theres been tons of good players on shitty teams and tons of shitty players on good teams....

  • @purpsmaster yea true, Eddie isn't one of the shytty players though.. Thats my point! He was still productive and an impact player. Not a Hall of Famer but, neither is Ricky Watters, Ladainian Tomlinson, or Frank Gore. Non the less, they are still great.

  • @ice9izzle20009 LT not a hof'er... are u insane?! 10 yrs of dominance, most rushing tds in a season, like 7 or 8 years ina row with atleast 1000 yds... ur crazy

  • @bigbird7 look @ the trend of how the NFL picks HOF canidates. LT has to do one of two things if not both. Run like crazy for the remaining seasons of his career, put up comparible numbers to him in his prime years, and stay healthy OR put up good numbers and win a superbowl..Barry Sanders made it into the HOF not winning a superbowl bu,t he was far beyond dominant in the NFL. If you look at LT's numbers he is still far behind the other HOF runningbacks other than the category of TD's.

  • @ice9izzle20009 With LT the super bowl thing won't matter though. Can't say for sure but he'll still probably have 2 or 3 more solid years in him and already has more TD's AND yards than jim brown, thurmon thomas, eric dickerson, oj simpson, marcus allen, and is going to pass dorsett this year in yards. Doubles most of their TD's, and has the season record. 8 straight years of 1100 yds or more. Those personal stats are too hard to ignore. Are you a broncos fan or something???? lol

  • @bigbird7 true and no, I'm not a broncos fan. Of all the RB's LT has put up impressive numbers. My argument is, if doesn't have a break out season this year, he's done. I believe he signed a one year contract with the Jets. He has one shot. You can't make the HOF on weak seasons going into retirement and not win a SuperBowl.. Look at who's there already. All the guys you named above have either won ring(s), and/or put up impressive numbers througout their career into the last of there seasons.

  • @ice9izzle20009 and Barry Sanders has the record for consecutive 1100 yard seasons with 10..

  • WTF half the fucking video wasnt even about eddie george

  • Terry Glenn @ 44 seconds....what a stud

  • my boy eddie george runnin all over teams in 95, i dont know how that team didnt win a national championship.... eddie george, terry glenn, shawn springs, joey galloway, mike vrabel... and thats just off the top of my head

  • also orlando pace. the 95 team was stacked but too bad they couldn't win when it counted. losers!

  • I wish we could play OSU this week...

  • not as good as tommie frazier

  • @theotherbeave lol.. I haven't heard that name in a long time.. He had fluid in his knee. That ended his career, right?

  • @ice9izzle20009 yeah. some bullshit like that.

  • he's good, but i give alot of credit to the line for making those hole's .. fricken bus's could have fit through them

  • john cooper wuz so horrible,my bucks should have had a dynasty in the 90s, those wurr our most complete teams ever put together. GEAORGE GLENN GALLOWAY PACE DUDLEY STRINGER

  • cooper was such a dank recruiter dude...tressel coaching with cooper players = national title

  • Cooper sucked as a coach but was a great recruiter. I'll give him that. We shoulda had 2 national titles in the 1990's if it weren't for that sad sack. Eddie was a true champion although I was at a game v. illinois where he fumbled inside the 2 TWICE as a frosh. He transcended.

  • eddie wuz a beast

  • He was a thoroughbred

  • Speaking of Cooper failures on game day, the line one year overlapped, and had Korey Stringer and Orlando Pace at the same time. Then Orlando Pace with Eddie George and Joey Galloway.

  • Fortunately, it looks like Tressel is the anti-Cooper: 5 in a row v. Michigan. Not even Woody ever pulled that off.

  • Man if we could get our lines back to be half of that we would snatch another NC.

  • Great highlight reel. What a workhorse he was....abourt the o-line, I think even Mike Hart could have gotten the first down through that hole at 3:43. Too bad Beanie didn't have a line like that. But then he wouldn't have a video of just stiff arms.

  • That season was magical (until Biakabatuka ran wild for 313 yards in the Michigan game). Eddie George, Terry Glenn, Orlando Pace, Ricky Dudley, all 1st rounders and were on that offense. That Illinois game was the single most dominating performance I have ever seen by any Ohio State offensive player. Illinois had Kevin Hardy and Simeon Rice, two Top 3 picks in the draft. They were talking tons of trash that whole week, then Eddie put up 314 rushing, and I think like another 50 receiving, 4 TDs.

  • is WR #83 joey galloway? eddie george is pretty good in here, but i think chris wells is better. but i dunno we'll see.

  • #83 is Terry Glenn

  • No way Chris Wells was better than Eddie. Wells might be a slightly better athlete than Eddie was in college, but Eddie was the definition of a workhorse, a back who wore down and punished opposing defenses. Chris Wells, while physically capable of being that kind of back, is too injury prone and is not mentally tough at all. Also, Eddie was a very good blocker and receiver, Wells was just a runner. Eddie = dependable back and a leader. Wells = very talented, but not dependable when it mattered.

  • Sean Doyle I think Eddie was great but you may be selling Wells a little short, Eddie ran behind one of the Greatest lines tOSU ever had and Wells ran behind one of the few lines that never had not one NFL quality lineman , one of the worse lines in tOSU history and to say Wells wasn;t dependable when it mattered is a joke. He beat MICH by himself and had a good game against LSU in NCG the poor play of others and bad playcallin took him out of game. compare it to Eddie's game against TENN.

  • @boing3887 Eddie wont he Heisman in 1995 and had 1900 or so yards rushing. Beanie isn't close to what Eddie was.

  • @OrlandoClassWar right but beanie was injured alot as well

  • @boing3887 Chris Wells is not better than Eddie George..dude get a clue!

  • @jayminmcdonald

well, it's too early to tell, i shouldn't have said that chris wells is better now than eddie george was at his best, so i misspoke. but i really do think that chris wells has more potential because he's more athletic, in my opinion. so yeah, i'm trying to say that i think chris wells CAN be better

  • did orlando pace play on that same team?

  • yes

  • i cant watch this video

    wanting new friends p6

  • great vid.

WRT the music, i think house/techno is much better than mindless gangster rap in sports vids. the beat is smoother. maybe i'm getting old, but i can't stand hip hop any more. to me it died w/ Biggie and Pac... but w/e...

  • What is this song?

  • I had the Kayne West songs "The Good life," and "Stronger" for this video, but you tube threatened to cancel my video due to copyright laws. I had to find a generic song from their music library, and this is it. Don't know what the name of it is though.

  • God they're pathetic. It's a song. Fuck off you greedy bastards.

  • Sick video. I haven't been able to find anything on Eddie until now.

  • Go Buckeyes!

  • Damn, wish we had that O-line back.

  • I was thinking the exact same thing.

  • you and me both.

  • One of the greatest sports photos I have ever seen has Eddie George in it, but most people outside of central Ohio have never seen it. A Columbus Dispatch photographer was beyond the end zone at an OSU/Notre Dame game and Eddie broke off a long (50 something yard) TD run. In the picture, Eddie is the only Buckeye you see and he is out in front being chased by all 11 ND players. A must see for college football fans.

  • Watch Pace during these videos. He was completely dominant. As amazing as Eddie, in my opinion.

  • eddie george had those thunder thighs(no homo) like Herchel Walker Tim Tebow Lary Johnson Earl Campbell Michael Robinson(former penn state QB) athlete with those genitc freakishly strong thighs make great runners

  • Buckeyes just love big backs. Eddie was the best of them, I think. And Maurice....forget it...don't wanna buckeye fans nightmares. That man did a lot for that team.

  • I love when he stuffs the first 2 guys faces hahahah Man in highschool I was the smallest white boy to play runnin back, and I wanted to be eddie george the biggest black dude to play running back lmao yeah right he is a beast good video

  • Eddie was nice, having Orlando Pace helps to.

  • ray is lucky he's not behind bars for murder being owned by a whole lot of people

still never corrected me and said eddie owned him? WHY cuz it never happened theres a clip of eddie "stiff arming" ray..but he still gets tackled LOL nt eddie

  • That stiff arm was NASTY. Ray got the tackle but he also got crushed in the process and gave up some YAC. Ray is a great player but Eddie made him look like a boy trying to tackle a man on that play. That, my Ratbird friend, is getting owned. Oh, and where is your evidence beyond your obvious feelings of ZOMG!!1!!~1! RAY RULZ!!!!1!1!!

  • oh ya great career eddie....Average 3.6 wooo ur the best jim brown over here

  • C/mon, man. Eddie played pro for an average team with an average line. He harldy ever had anybody to block for him....He had a good career in the NFL...

  • they went to the superbowl and had bruce matthews a hall of famer..walter had jack shit. has did barry and they still tore it up

  • Nobody ever said he was Payton or Sanders. I think he went 10 seasons with 7 of them over 1000 yards. That's pretty good considering he hardly ever had a fullback to block for him.

  • he had lorenzo neal for awhile

  • last time i checked u dont go to jail for being around ppl who have been killed..last time i check he didnt stab any1..anyways hes not behind bars he'll be in canton before jail

  • Last time I checked you do go to jail for assault and obstruction of justice. He lied to the police in his initial report and several eyewitnesses (his Limo driver included) saw Ray throwing punches in the brawl in which two men were stabbed. Face it, if he wasn't Ray Lewis then he would be in jail.

Oh, and if he didn't feel at least partly guilty for those men's deaths then why did he pay off their families?

  • fuck ray dont dis eddie like faggot

  • ray owned this fool all the time

  • ray is lucky he's not behind bars for murder being owned by a whole lot of people

  • @trep52 not really

  • @trep52 don't worry, eddie got him back lolol search eddie george, ray lewis n watch eddie stiff arm him like he's his little sister

  • @bigbird7

are u referring to the stiff arm that he still got tackled?

  • @trep52 yep, the one where ray lewis got fuckin trucked by an arm and since hes an amazing athlete and strong as fuck he was still able to hold on for the tackle... that one

  • @bigbird7 ok so the tackle was made and he gained no more yards ...cool yo

  • I think beanie is even better then he was

  • After watching this footage, Eddie should split his Heisman and give a half to Orlando.

  • Orlando Pace owned everyone in his path and Eddie was just incredible. What a team this was.

  • Eddie's amazing, even in Tenn he was a badass RB!

  • That team was loaded

  • This is the team that should have gone the whole way. I think I felt worse after they lost to the Spratans than either the FU or LoStU losses.

Unfortunately, FU and LoStU were both much better teams and we had a weak schedule and an above average team.

That team had SO MANY guys that were very successful in the pro ranks for extended periods.

Oh well, such is college football.

  • Did someone just say doak walker?

  • he should have used the song chapion

  • Eddie George!

    Great RB!

  • It's about time we get some Eddie George action on YouTube, thanks!

And wow, so many great memories watching this... tons of awesome names that spark the memory bank.

  • D Stanley is such a pretty boy

  • great video

  • that Illinois game was phenomenal. All of Eddie's big gainers were off Pace and Dudley. Those guys could block. And not just block, but planet defenders head first in the turf.

  • was it just me or did the defense look monsters

  • eddie is the man

  • So is Orlando Pace.

  • So is Terry Glenn

  • And Shawn Springs.

    Oh, and Mike Vrabel. :D

  • and donovan mcnabb.

    oh, and brian westbrook :P

  • Ted Ginn could be the man, if he attended training camp.
