  • Hi! I am trying Polyphasic Sleep and recording all my results, and how I'm feeling. I am specifically doing the Dymaxion Sleep Schedule(2hours a day) which is every 6 hours, you sleep for 30minutes. I discuss tips that I have found out from experience that can make the experience way easier to accomplish! Sorry if you call this spam, I thought that if your watching Polyphasic Sleep videos on youtube, you might want to read about my experience as well. I feel great!

  • Any food is good for preventing hair loss? thanks!

  • ...Emilie Autumn brought me here, I guess.. XD

  • @BlackWingMaker If you used to eat mostly processed foods with lots of sugar and chemicals, your body could be having a little bit of a withdrawal symptom since you're not giving it the junk it has become accustomed to for so long.

  • @BlackWingMaker the is very strange my friend not normal. maybe your body is not yet ready for the change. I used to practically only eat fast food and processed food and always was tired, having trouble getting up in the morning and overweight. I switched to a 80% raw food diet and now have this extra energy and positive attitude it is unbelievable. I recommend it. I have lost 28lbs already. At least quit eating msg and artificial sweeteners like aspartame (it causes headaches). look them up. ;)

  • NO!! NO!!! NO!!! GODDAMN U SUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!! Natalie.

  • Natalie, you are changing my life with this series. Health has come alive for me. Is there anything you can recommend for arthritis and stiff joints? In the past I ate healthy occasionally, but now my goal is to live and eat healthfully all the time.

    Blessings and you GO GIRL!!

  • Natalie, you are changing my life- I am hooked on learning about health now. Is there anything I can do for arthritis and stiff joints?? It's pretty bad and I was wondering if there's any food that would help.

Go girl, you are awesome and awesomely used by God. Yee haw!

  • i bet on my life, that this girl/women have a stanky pussy.

  • This girl/women is indeed agressive.

  • WHOA, at last, a girl in america that isn't FAT. Her nutrition tips must really be working!

  • “I am always pushing Whole Foods to my friends and family to the point that they are think I work for you. That is why a friend just took great pleasure in sending me this article about Whole Foods and quality standards not being what they used to be. Please respond so I can defend Whole Foods to my friend!”

  • again me...,please stay the president of the world!!

  • Make sure your water does not have fluoride in - fluoride is just waste. Sainsburry's do caladion - i think its called and that does not have fluoride in :)

  • @TheaDragonSpirit Make sure your water does not have fluoride? You sure?

Some fluoride in water can massively help children develop strong healthy teeth. If you take out fluoride because it doesn't have any nutritional value, then you have lost the benefits of fluoride. :/

  • @Gnoll98 - Calcium flouride is ok for teeth. But in no way is it better, you can get more calcium from bread then milk and calcium fluoride is not that great. Sodium fluoride is rat posien and deadly for young children in fact, I would rather give my kid a gun then sodium fluoride in tooth paste, after learning how dangerous it is and how it was used in nazi and soviate war camps.

  • @TheaDragonSpirit Hahah, yeah NaF is entirely different :P I was thinking of CaF2, you are correct, and yes you can get more calcium, but calcium will not fight cavities as well as fluoride; however, it will prevent them well. But I wouldn't call it just a waste, waste implies 0 benefit... that's all I was getting at...

  • I know if you have the squirts you can simply toast a piece of bread till its kinda burnt eat it and the char will take your bubbly guts away.

  • she looks kinky

  • HI! Believe it or not, when I drink this juice it really helps me sleep better and get up easier the next day!

  • @rgdvm93 I don't know if you have to have one everyday or not but if you are having problems with regularity eat more fiber and plain yogurt with active bacteria in it.

  • I'm a dirty sponge!

  • beautiful woman, beautiful human being, love the videos, very informative and inspiring - thanks!

  • Nat - do you have any tips on how to increase iron absorption and overcome iron deficiency in a vegetarian diet?

  • V-E-R-Y tactful. GRADE A

  • hi! i loveeeeeeeee all your videos! it really motivates me to lead a healthier lifestyle and i do feel better physically as well as mentally (:

could u please do a video about how to control our portion sizes?

    hope to see it soon!

    THANKS! :D

  • Do you think she ever had fast food?

She is probably the most healthiest person alive!

    I LOVE HER, THANKS NAT!

  • I think she did, most times if you've never dried something how can you teach someone about it?

  • SODA IS POISON...I drank Mtn Dew since 1985 in large quanities.I remember working as a prep-cook and having 2 liter pitchers a night of either coke or mtn dew. In fact my nic-name regretfully is Dewey... I HAVE kicked the habit after noticing the increase in sugar in the drink. NOW I SEE IT IS poison and do not drink it. PLEASE do a video on how toxic it is for us!

  • Sho is a great example of what humans should look like. She has great skin, healthy shiny hair a good energy level etc.

  • Thank you, Natalie :). I love to watch these types of videos because they gave me a renewed sense that there are things that I can fix in order to be a healthier person. Right now, I am dehydrated, so I might concentrate on drinking more water (to make sure my cells are clean ;P), and then increase my whole food intake.

    Uber informative video!

    ~Colleen

  • Natalie, yu are a living breathing example of someone healthy. You were so meant to do this. You are very passionate about health.

  • informative video, thanks

  • i thought we feel a bit tired after a big meal, because blood rushes to the stomach to help with the digestion....blood that also comes from the head....and thats what makes us feel tired.... right?

  • i thought so too... i mean, good thing natalie says that it depends on our enzymes etc, but she doesnt say how to get to that point where you dont feel tired :/

not the best of her vids, i must say... :(

  • Great video natalie, but there is something i wanna say relating to grains.Phytic acid is a strong chelator of important minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron, and zinc, and can therefore contribute to mineral deficiencies in people whose diets rely on these foods for their mineral intake, such as those in developing countries.[6] It also acts as an acid, chelating the vitamin niacin, which is basic, causing the condition known as pellagra. Grains contain this. What is your take on this?

  • Thats why I think you have to soak the grains in water for hours.I have searched the web. From what I learned some of our ancestors and still in some countries people soak their grains overnight befor cooking and Phytic acid protects the grain until it ready to grow.

I soak my oatmeal overnight before I eat it. I notice I get more energy when I soak them than when I do not. Plus they do not hurt my stomach as much when I do.

  • Yeah, thats correct... I know about soaking oatmeal, but i have never tried it before,,, How different is the taste after the oatmeal has been soaked??

  • I never thought of nutrition being a four-part process. Thanks for the new perspective!

I'm learning quite a lot, and I believe I said this before, but a lot of what you say in your videos is new to me and not the cliche things. Of course I already know a good bit---I'm not THAT much of a n00b---but I still love how I learn something in all of your vids!

I also like how it doesn't look like you don't wear mountains of makeup.

  • WoW

  • Amazing information! I LOVE the video! I will be staying tuned!

  • waw she's beatiful =) (K)

  • Hi Nataly I just love your videos I have a problem with my visits to the bathroom I drink a lot of water and I try to eat healthy I really do but I still having those constipation days I don't not what else to do Probiotic sounds good but all the products that I saw out there have a lot of calories please do you know probiotics that can help me

  • Did you eat your 5 or more fruits today? click my name then the website this is how I get my fruits. If it's not organic or wild your not getting much nutrition from it.

  • Get onto don tolman international.

  • Gives me a tickle down there !

  • I had hellacious heartburn for days on end. I would take a tums and it would be fine but soon I was taking 1 then when that stopped working I would take 3 and 4 at a time that stopped working....I stopped eating meat in Jan of 08 not a single case of heartburn since. :)

  • You are absolutely gorgeous.

  • Hey Nat, what about salts? So many different salts: Morton salt, Hawaiian sea salt, French sea salt and Himalayan Crystal salt. Any differences here?

  • you're beautiful =]

  • P.S hence small meals often is they way forward. Good work Natalie, love the informative videos

  • The reason you feel tired after a very large meal is, blood rushes to you digestive system to help digest the food. Therefor you have less blood available for you muscels.

  • dont forget the serotonin -> melatonin connection here. after you eat your body releases increased amounts of serotonin NOT only in the synaps but throught your body. serotonin is the precursor to melatonin which is the chemical that puts you too sleep. if im wrong.. someone correct me please :D

  • ugh, i just read my previous comment and i realized it makes no sense! (it must have been that my brain function was all messed up because of my lack of water! ) lol. what i mean is, 80 percent prolly has to do with your diet and nutrition, but i want to know how you work out, because if you are so into caring for your body you obviously do work out! anyway! thanks again!

  • i would really like to know what you (natalie) do for exercise. obviously you are in tremendous shape, which i suspect is 80 percent of why your body is the way it is. what else do you do? <3 thanks so much for all your wonderful information!!!

  • i usually made pancakes with whole wheat flour, banana and blueberry. do you think frying the mixture above in extra virgin olive oil is unhealthy?

  • We shot a video yesterday dealing with Coconut and she makes a comment about cooking with olive oil in it. The video should be out probably Monday.

  • @psychetruth i eat crap foods. how about i eat nutriton and you take care of my mental health

  • @emmanuel43 Olive oil is the best choice, but why do you need the oil?

There are new-technology non-stick pans that don't need oil.

(you need 1-2 spoons of uncooked olive oil daily, RAW oil)

Also, you should add some protein in your breakfast.

How many eggs do you use?

  • Great video. Digestion is a part of nutrition that gets overlooked too often. By the way, my YouTube group just started a contest that can help people get in shape. Submit an entry for a prize that could change your life.

  • Is it ok to eat vegetables that are heated.I can't eat cold salads at all.The same with milk.I can only drink it if it's heated or on a cereal. If I try to drink a cold glass of milk it makes me sick instantly.

  • Thanks for educating us natalia love you lots xoxooxox

  • 3 shits a day?????im lucky to get 3 a week.

  • Hehe, eat raw vegetables and drink more water.

  • ummm lol

  • wow! Very good information. Apprently you're doing something right because you look Beautifull in this video! You're treating your skin very well.

  • It's funny. A lot of the things she suggested as "problems" could eventually result in something horrible such as ulcerous colitis. Treat your body like a temple! Good info. Thanks for sharing

  • CORRECTION. Ulcerative Colitis.

  • hehe :) . how about spicy foods ? how about teas ? or carbonated water ?

  • Well, over 11,000 people watched the video so far, so I guess some people care. :) You just keep eating all that candy.

  • Cognitive dissonance at it's best.

  • WHAT DOES THAT MEWEAN???

  • Cognitive dissonance is like a psychology term that basically means our brains usually try to focus on ideas that support the easy way out. Or just make up things that support thoughts we already have, which continues close mindedness. I was saying that in response to someone saying "candy is good for you" or something to that effect.

  • oh I never said that ALOT of candy is good, but we sometimes need fixes...and well, ifd you take it in moderation, then your all good^^

  • when u eat a big meal the blood diverts to the digestive system so you feel tired, food doesnt digest instantly!

  • Agreed!

  • how old are you natilie?

  • Very good information to achieve a perfect poo!

  • lol

  • she looks so radiant ^_^

  • you're hot!

  • thnks for tht! =)

  • good info. Thanks for sharing :)

  • Damn you're hot! I love listening to your words of wisdom!

  • I'm an 140 lb man. How many glasses is 140 oz.?

  • You should drink at least half your weight in ounces. You should be drinking nine 8 oz glasses of water each day or more if you can.

  • It would be 70 oz, not 140. I'm guessing that's 4 or 5 glasses of water :/

  • very good Natalie thanks for your help!

  • very good video, loved it!!!!

  • good that you're talking about nutrition and trying to educate people. what is paramount to this discussion is the awareness that the food chain/soil and water is contaminated. so it is very important to source CLEAN, hormone free, chemical free food/water and supplement with powerful SUPERFOODS that are loaded with anti-oxidents and LIFE FORCE ENERGY like Amazon Herbs and other wild foods.

  • dirty sponge! lol ^_^

  • Nat, thanks for the info. I just stumbled upon this video and excited to check out how to eat better. And so since some people are joking about 3-5 bm's a day.... the easiest way to do that is to eat Micky D's for every meal. That usually makes you have a bm 7 minutes after you eat it. j/k On the reals, thanks for the info!

  • You are so serious for someone so beautiful.

  • organic farming is a god sent to the American farmer just ask Willy Nelson.

  • Natalie is completley right...especially in the water situation.you should always drink half of your water wight in ounces..after i heard that i tried it...and guess what? it worked...not only was i healthier i also felt better after it too...i felt less stressed and i had more energy..technically...your urine should be clear..its gross but its true..if your pe is clear then you have enough water

  • I eat pretty healthy and I still don't have a BM 3x a day. I agree with you on the Raw foods. Are you suggesting being a vegetarian? Your website doesn't work BTW.

  • Being a vegetarian requires education and attention to what you are eating to make sure you are still getting enough protein. I personally am not a vegetarian, but if you are a lacto-ovo, pesce vegetarian (you eat eggs and dairy and fish), that is a very balanced way to eat. I apologize about my website...I'm changing servers and it has been such a hassle but it should be up and running very soon... Thank you for your patience.

  • Why aren't you a vegetarian? You know meat clogs your arteries and is not easily digestible?! :) /lacto-ovo pesce vegetarian

  • vegetarians have a very high rate of colon cancer-among other health problems...and only highly cooked meat is hard to digest.

  • I read (translated): "22 of the worlds leading experts on nutrition and cancer have come to the conclusion that when you're eating meat, then colon-cancer increases by 30% comparing to those who eats most meat and those who eats least amount of meat". 30% more according to WCRF-report "Food, nutrition, physical activity, and prevention of cancer"

  • ..also "WorldCancerFund (WCRF) recommends people to not eat more than 500 gram meat per week (750g raw meat). Sausages and pâtés are recommended to avoid, according to them.

  • Yes I am also very informed and have heard/read these things as well...i used to be vegan because of these same reasons so my response is not out of ignorance (not that you implied that)...there is always going to be "scientific research" to support both sides that just seems to be how science it (Bio major). Always in research there are factors in which you can not account for that may change the outcome of a study.

  • There is nothing wrong with being vegan or vegetarian. If you plan it outright and know what you're doing you should and probably will be healthier then a person who is not vegetarian. The truth is in the food. Weigh the pros and cons, the answer is obvious as too which is more beneficial.

    P.S. Why isn't Natalie a Vegetarian?

  • Not as obvious as some may think. I do understand the thinking behind your response...but from much research of my own I disagree. Many people in recent decades have been led to believe that animal protein and/or fat is unhealthy. Quite the opposite... Looking at societies who have been primarily veg..ie: Egyptians...people in southern India...-continued

  • I've heard that animal protein isn't the best suited protein available for our bodies, but that really isn't a big deal. It provides all of the essential amino acids and b12. But when you look at other things that come with meat: saturated fats, hormones, ingested hormones, and all other kinds of things that our bodies weren't meant to deal with. Compare that with another complete protein source, say Quinoa, the pros and cons say Quinoa is the better choice. This is just one example out of many.

  • Agreed, somewhat. But but vegetarians are always told to take a b12 vitamins so they don't develop a deficiency...that just doesn't seem natural.

I also believe that saturated fat is healthy...but agree with you on the hormones. The US seems to be the worst with this...feeding the animals the worst possible diet and treating them very badly which in turn puts negativity in our bodies.

  • Yeah, the best source of B12 is beef. Although they have found B12 in seaweed and algae. Take a look at Spirulina. I'd rather get it naturally from there then to have to deal with pills, which I also don't think is natural. Saturated fat is necessary for our health, but in moderation. Meat is packed with saturated fat, and it's effects showing up in health reports all over the U.S. Nuts are a great source...

  • Yes I agree with your reply...Seaweed is very good!

I am skeptical of studies. There many factors involved..that might change things-like if the fat is denatured-and other things eaten in the diet during testing. Again nuts and seeds contain anti-nutrients unless soaked.

  • ....

  • That was a test because my post wasn't posting. I've never heard of Anti-nutrients, but I'll definately look into it.

From my brief reading, it says that Anti-nutrients are just pollutants in our bodies that we aren't supposed to be consuming like meds, pesticides and others. Is this what you were referring to? If so can't we protect ourselves through an organic diet?

There is also a paragraph on that page about vegetarianism that might interest you.

  • educate hyphen yourself dot org backslash nutrition

  • Ha thats funny!

  • lol

  • Okay so anti-nutrients are also called enzyme inhibitors...they are molecules that bind to enzymes to decrease their activity so that when they are eaten by animals they pass through and come out in their little poopies...in a nice little bundle of fertilizer.

  • lol, that's what happens when I eat corn....lol

  • Totally...corn holds magical properties..it always comes out whole..hehe

  • Yeah, so where do they come from? Are they in all nuts, or just contaminated nuts?

  • no no it has nothing to do with contamination...it is a naturally occuring thing with many plants...its just nature. It is in many plants...just higher amounts in some. That is why people eat sprouted things...'specially raw foodists

  • ah...enlightenment. Good to know

  • I sent you a message...check your inbox...cause there is more room to reply... i am too wordy i guess..

  • You're 38? 38!?. Damn ! Kudos to you.

  • why isn't her website working?

  • I apologize about my website...I'm changing servers and it has been such a hassle but it should be up and running very soon... Thank you for your patience.

  • natalie your videos have really inspired me to action...i am losing weight, feeling great, and the comment about bowel movements is 100% correct; I can now personally testify:-) LOL

  • Marry me!

  • You don't know what you are talking about. But nice try. 3 BM's a day? This is not realistic and I am 100% sure you don't have 3 a day.

  • She knows exactly what she's talking about. When you get enough fiber and water, you do have 3 to 5 BMs per day. I do.

  • lol Your roids ever get sore. Are you serious 3 to 5 a day. Dogs digest food extremely fast, we don't.

  • Natalie is correct. If you have enough fiber and water in your diet, you'll go once for every meal in the day. I eat 3 to 5 per day and it's no problem to eliminate after all of them. I'm much, much healthier than before. Your comment that this is not realistic shows an ignorance of nutrition. Natalie knows what she's talking about. You don't.

  • you must have a really jacked up diet LOL.

  • No, I just eat enough fiber and drink enough water.

  • Do you know what a dietician is? I suggest you go speak with one in person if you don't believe natalie. Western civilization is incredibly undereducated when it comes to proper diet and she offers free help(as opposed to the pharmaceutical drug pushers who keep your ignorant.)

  • Natalie is on point. Try changing your diet to what Natalie is talking about and you'll see you'll take dumps all day. Fiber+water+balance=health and taking dumps...

  • informative video, thanks

  • such a smart ass! good job I guess
