NYG is far superior to NYP. First, of course, it's an actual station, not a hole in the ground. And also, track access is much easier - walking down a ramp vs. going down an escalator is better. Makes one miss the grandness that was the real Penn Station.

Penn Station hasn't changed much on the track level since old times. Based on the photographs, the "real" Penn Station also required to use stairways for platform access.
