  • the electricity required to power the fuel pump is far less than the that required to turn the engine over

  • WHATS UP?!!!!!!!

  • do you need to raise both front wheels or its ok with just one ???

  • lol with that rope whipping around looks like a good way to get hurt.

  • If its AWD then just put the whole car on jack stands. Common sense.

  • @nickyjam770 - not all 4x4s are interchangeable unless your car says 4x2 moron

  • @nickyjam770 - no your the dummy not all AWD cars have the ability to change into 2WD some are permanent AWD drive terrain vehicles take the subaru imprezas for instance

  • kavkazik!

  • that could have ended in tears

  • what if its a rwd?

  • @jigsaw5597 if car is rwd the same thing would be done but to the rear wheel.

if you have 4x4 then your screwed tho

  • @Pileggino if you have all wheel drive youre screwed,4x4 can be put in 4x2 dummy

  • funny, that this car in the video starts, but stops again, whnever I get an hourglass on my laptop screen.

  • Chuck Norris doesn't need a rope

  • @zemersEU well i have turned on a Chevrolet Grand Vitara 2006 and a mitsubishi signo 2005, obviously both were manual transmition, you'll see, the trick its to try to start it on the 2nd march (im not sure if its the correct word in english) but it is possible. and the vitara was hard as hell because its heavy that motherf. but well check this vid its obviously an after 2000s car.. youtu(dot)be/TCdNHs1bugA ..

  • @zemersEU pushing it does works .. idk about this but im sure that push it does work on almost all cars that doesnt have a automatic transmition ..

  • this is why the Russians are the only ones with a rocket that carries people to the Space Station.

  • You can only do that on a standard with a carb correct?

  • @spamkingalpha Once the engine turns, the alternator will produce enough electricity to pressurize the fuel pump and produce a spark.

  • i didnt know you could pull start a car thats fucking awsome

  • "Yo fuck you!" - Great ending to any video lol

  • @MrJrakk That's not what he said

  • @gigobait Sounded like it lol

  • That's why you park on a incline, or slope, maybe even a hill.

  • dibilisme

  • In order to "push" it, you'd have to get it up to 30mph. Judging from the terrain in the video there's no way.

  • @Giannboy1 Not necessarily. If engine is is ok and some voltage in battery, it should start with few mph speed, suitable gear and quick releasing of clutch. Automatic transmission is different. Some could be started with towing, like old mercedes from 70's, but at least my dodge wouldnt turn gears on before engine is running. They need quite high speed to make oil pressure for bands and clutch plate assemblies, or whatever they are called in english :)

  • @Giannboy1 no you dont nobody on this planet can sprint 30 mph let alone push a car maybe 10mph max

  • And when the Yankees know that the Russian in the critical case of ladies' stockings are used as a belt alternator - they realize that this country is invincible. Bugagaga.

  • brililant

  • Thanks God this footage is not about how to wind up the man around the tire

  • I was start my old car this way. Yes, I'm in Russia and it was car with carb :)

  • Why just not push it?

  • @boyan3001 Its on a hill, or you might be in a situation when you are alone.

  • @boyan3001 because this is cooler.

  • Dont forget the rope ...if it get your hand...nobody can help you.someone must be inside the car and press the brake after the motor start to work or you will lose your harm or even die.

  • @7ranc3Addict Did you not watch the video? XD I got another one on my channel

  • @7ranc3Addict in Sovier Russia yes,it works :)

  • @7ranc3Addict

Offcurse it work. Just put car in a second gear and try it like this or try pushing the car. Both times it will start.

  • @7ranc3Addict yeah it would, tho i'd never of thought of jacking it up and putting it in gear and rope starting it

  • @7ranc3Addict you watched a video of it, then asked if it works, are you fucking stupiud....

  • Only in Sovient Russia

  • How you can start gasoline car with dead battery... where do you get power to ignition and electric fuel pump?

  • @KillerJoeFIN Its most likely a carb, or there was little juice left in the battery. Those cars came with carbs for a long time.

  • @gigobait it has nothing to do with carb. Ignition power is supplied due to electric generator's rotation.

  • @KillerJoeFIN the battery is used to start a small electric motor usually called starter engine to get the main(gas) engine reving, doing what he just did by turning the weels is the same (if the car is on gear). As soon as the gas engine starts the alternator generates power to the rest of the car.

  • @Flatine1

Yep but if battery is dead... where you get ignition power? Some times you have some voltages at battery but what then if car battery is total dead and ignition doesnt have magneto?

  • @KillerJoeFIN batterys are never 100% dead, theres always some residual charge left, not enough to start on its on but good for this method, if you remove the battery it won't start if that's what you mean.

  • @Flatine1 I have started and driven one of my older cars without any battery. Only problem was lights, heater, radio and etc. didn't work.

  • @KillerJoeFIN you only need your battery to start your car. once started, the engine produces electricity :) everybody whos passed grade 11 should know that where i live.

  • @MrAri233 Everyone knows where I live that the engine does NOT produce electricity. The dynamo (generator) does that job.

  • @feit2008 yes, which still wont work with no engine.

  • @MrAri233

actually it is the alternator that produces electricity :))

  • @MrAri233 11 grade? are you fucking kidding me? :D 9 grade or below. :D

  • @KillerJoeFIN such a stupid question.. :D

  • @KillerJoeFIN In a manual transmission car when the battery doesn't have enough power to turn the starter you can put the car into 2nd gear drop the clutch and push it, you usually have to build up a little speed but the gears turning should be enough to push start the engine. Though this usually only works if the battery has enough electricity to keep the car powered long enough for the alternator to kick in. This doesn't work for most automatic transmission cars though.

  • @KillerJoeFIN Battery needed only to start the engine, the rest takes the power generator which produces electricity and charges the battery.

  • @KillerJoeFIN Alternator. Bit of fuel is all you need to start it.

  • @KillerJoeFIN From the generator that turns when you turn the wheels?

  • @KillerJoeFIN Maybe the battery just didn't have enough juice to get the starter going.

  • @KillerJoeFIN A car can have enough juice to have spark, yet not enough to crank the engine over.

  • @KillerJoeFIN when the engine turns it produces power from the alternator, think dynamo light

  • @Brainkiller This is how we start tanks here in Russia.
