Gus died, and I gave him a proper, tearful burial (b/c he wouldn't eat, even the colostrum kitten milk), and I bawled. I gavo e him my most precious jewelry box, and sang over him. You don't need to get their smell removed. They only use it when they are in danger, or feel like they're in danger. If they get a little used to you, they won't use it, and you won't smell anything.
