What's sad is that my 2006 GTO with 100 less horse power runs within about 2 tenths of a second from the 2007 GT500 and for $15k less brand new. ... and I have an IRS. Let me put that $15k I saved into my Goat.
not having an IRS helped keep the costs down on the vehicle. And, just for your knowledge, the live axle in this Shelby handles better than the previous Cobra's IRS. Also, you get to avoid the wheel hop.
Awesome video, but for 45k the car really should have an I.R.S. How much are you guys paying Carroll Shelby per vehicle?! I'd rather pay 45K have an IRS and have not have the Shelby name than pay 45K just for the name. I think you guys had it right in 03/04.
