  • Awesome bro!!!

  • I wanted a cigarette lighter to hold up in the air while watching this, but I don't smoke..

  • brilliant man...very good... can you answer one question?where did you get the background music.i mean only bass and drums?

  • Dude, Very Well Done! Thanks a million! Much appreciated.

  • @HometownEntTV '06 Deluxe, best I have played/owned.

  • Best cover I've seen...learned little wing last night, njow gonna learn this tomorrow... think i can get the correct tone out of a peavey classic 30? (I think i have the same guitar as you.. USA?)

  • @bigdaddyjay85 Thanks man! I think a C30 will get you there, they have great dist., maybe add tubescreamer if you got it. I did use a lot of gain on this. Partly to get some sustain at low vol. I'd use much less at gig volume.

  • Hey man! This is the best cover I've seen. I've learned alot. I need to know what kind of pedal you have that gives that killer bite-sound. I'm currently using a Peavey Classic 30 withIbanez T9, but it doesn't have this killer sound that you have. Would you mind recommend me a good pedal for that angry sound?

    Thanks in advance!

    -Kim

  • @keem85m Thanks so much! Hmmm well the C30/T9 should be close, maybe some EQ? Try it in the fx loop, it works wonders there. Also, my strat just sounds great and the bridge pickup works really well with distortion. Pedal recommend? EQ pedal and/or a ds1 in place of the T9.

  • thanks man it helped a lot

  • AWESOME!!!

  • What device did you say you used to make the sound at 3:40 ?

  • WAH WAH !! \m/

  • sounds brilliant.. did you drop the tuning?

  • @MegaSledge Thanks! Yes it's in Eb

  • great video man ur on top of the game.

  • @MMustang256 Thanks man! I appreciate it.

  • sorry i got another question: i'm fairly sure that you do a hammer on+ pull off from 5 to 7th fret on the D string in the first lick around 3min36sec but could you confirm? (instead of just a pull off)

and to clarify my last question: i had troubles with raking with the 'palm' of my hand at the base of the guitar. But now i'm using my index finger of my fretting hand to 'block' the strings

so i was just wondering which technique you were using

but thanks for your reply so far!

  • @emofdo Yes I do but it's not nec. how srv played it. Good eye/ear.

AFA raking, I rec. using your picking hand as your 1st fngr won't always be avail for muting etc. Also, unwanted harmonics can be the result.

I will do a lesson on raking, a pic is worth 1,000 words.

  • amazing lesson question though , should you rake with your picking hand or with the hand on the neck of the guitar?

  • @emofdo Hmm..in this case, it's mostly pick hand muting. If that's what you mean.

  • what sort of fuckwit would dislike this shredding?

  • @969SobiasTokeS696 Thanks man! Lol. My favorite comment ever.

  • @han36solo great tone too

  • Brilliant lesson man, hope to see a follow up video out of you soon

  • @johnyjulez Thanks!! Yes! I will be doing more vids soon. Really appreciate it!

  • This is so great!! Thanks. What for pedals are you using?

  • @LeNickNL Just the amp distortion for this one. I love my tubescreamer for this but it can be a little noisy for recording vids so I just the V3.

  • added to my favorites !! :)
