does anyone know a good time to introduce a 'friend' to a budgie,
i got him at almost 4 months old during august, and i hear people still calling older budgies babys, umm, how old is normal, or appropriete to introduce him to a girl
i want to eventually give him company and breeding company is usualy best, killing 2 birds with 1 stone or so to speak, excuse the pun. but when would be best, i want them to get along and honestly my cockatiel is getting pissed with the budgie following her about
beautiful birds, are thier tails meant to be so starggly?
sorry i only ask because i got a breeding pair, at about 4 months old, i went out to the shed where i keep all the other birds, and the girl was dead, i know sucks. thing is i thought the boy was sick too cause he wouldnt move n stuff so i took him indoors ya know incase it was contageous.
but he got better hes pretty tame now, but his tails all messed up, i thought a cat scared them abit, but his tails still wierd???
what age can u tell if there male or female because i bought 2 and there a year old this month and 1 has changed his bak blue but the other 1 has still got a pink beak
thank you i was really hoping he wasnt a girl because sum1 told me that if a female lays an egg it can sumtimes get stuck and i was worrying for ages but thankyou so much :D xxx
They are gorgeous - love the whiter ones especially - are they Spangles? Did you get good homes for them all? - that must be a heart-breaker; letting them go.
Those budgies are rare because they are gray.
