i do agree that cannabis should be legalized... but just to open your mind a bit, figures regarding alcohol-related deaths take into account deaths resulting from accidents and violence that occur with alcohol abuse. so, to say that zero deaths have resulted from the use of cannabis is only accurate if you're talking about overdose. but if you take into consideration car accidents and other accidents that occur as a result of cannabis abuse, the number of deaths is much higher than zero.

many studies have conclusively shown that driving under the influence of cannabis is pretty much the same as drunk driving. like i said before, i think cannabis should be legal. but driving under its influence should not. it affects reaction time, spatial judgement, glare recovery, etc. studies have also shown that one's judgment is impaired long after the euphoric effects wear off. cannabis is not dangerous, but all this research essentially proves that driving while high is dangerous.
