I got this game along with subsistence, but i thought this was a bit too oldskool for me (started out with the snes when i was a little kid), but at least a hour passed by without even noticing. Now i just have to play the whole series... it feels nostalgic, even though i never played it :S. Maybe because games are now all about shooting others in tiny maps with seemingly recoilles weapons, and walking of wounds in like 4 sec...

Hope theyl remake them, MGSolid (or 3?) style!

@a1337turtle i would think a MGS1 psx style title would be rather nice , like in 3d, but still using the top view camera and having a small life bar like the one you start with, but keeping it like that. Maybe a couple of elements from MGS3, but Snake seems to be able to take more and more damage each sequel.

I think this is the original MSX-2 version's music, not the NES version's. It was released in Japan first, then they changed a bunch of stuff to release it in America on the NES.
