  • love this movie, bought it on sale on Blu ray digibook, best musical ever, Jim Sharman & Richard OBrien needs to make another musical together even tho Shock Treatment was their last

  • forgett Brad and Janet! The part of Riff Raff is the best XD

  • I saw this movie yesterday. Its was freaking awesome movie. Best musical ever!

  • where can i buy the album?

  • @Z3kedog frostwire

  • @pvtjacoby hmm never considered that. I'll probably just get it at barns and noble

  • holy crap richard obrien can sing.

  • And it all goes downhill from here fro Brad and Janet

  • richard obrien is a MOTHERRIFF-RAFFING GOD

  • I love Riff Raff's part in this song...

  • O'Brien = chills

  • I just wish that I had thought of it!

  • @sodapop380 less he pulled it off amazingly

  • The chorus: "over at the Frankenstein place" sounds different (and, I think, better) in the movie. Still, for a low-budget B movie this is a really great song.

  • thers a light over at the frankenstien place

  • I think it's stupid that my mom hates this movie because it's vulgar. That's the point, and I can't get enough of this movie! Best Musical EVER!

  • @JayWASNTHere yea me and my bff established that yesterday my bad

  • thumb up if you love the part where columbia says,"He's lucky, you're lucky,I'm lucky!!!"

  • I feel like the Glee version and the original are incomparable. The Glee version in no shape, way, or form satisfied me the way the original does. The original is much more powerful while the Glee version is trying to embellish the piece.

  • Don't hate on Glee, people. I think that they did a good job covering some of these songs, even if Amber performed Sweet Transvestite with a different melody.

Glee exposed a whole new generation to the Rocky Horror Picture Show, a musical for the ages.

  • @SkitsoRasputin I did too.

  • fantstic song!

  • i love love love Riff Raff's part in this. It is the best bit of the song and the lyrics are beautiful <3 thumbs up if ur a regular Riff Raff fan (:

  • @XxMagentaMcKinleyxX This is my second favorite ONLY to when Susan Sarandon(must be her-no one else can do it quite the same) finally lets go in touch-a, touch-a, touch me!! But he is AMAZing in this song, especially when he is holding that note that spawns for like, 12 bars haha.

  • @XxMagentaMcKinleyxX Yeah, I just skip to the Riff Raff part :)

  • i abslotly lolve this song

  • am i the only one you found tim pretty hot in this movie...i cried when he and rocky died

  • @TH3BVB2RHPS9loves No you are not.TIM WAS STUNNING IN THE FILM,even though he was a tranny...hehe XD

  • Greatest song ever!

  • My favorite song

  • WHERE IS THE VIDEO?!!!!GOOD MUSIC !CRAP FOR VIDEO!!!!!!

Why is every other song accompanied by the OFFICIAL MOVIE scene except this one?!

  • WHERE IS THE VIDEO?!!!!GOOD MUSIC !CRAP FOR VIDEO!!!!!!

  • @SkitsoRasputin

i know i've been trying to master that solo since i first heard the song. i will clearly never top o'brien, but i'd like to do good on it still.

  • Oh, Riff Raff <3

  • i mean it but rocky horror is so 70's a boy like me only just 12 years old didn't know this songs! But i love this original cover! but i love much glee version because they revived it here in 2010 !

  • @jhonalhem I'm a 12 year old boy too, and glee did... ok... but I really can't call it so 70's...

  • @jhonalhem Glee did fine but, allow me to bring math into this.

    Sarandon>Michele

    Bostwick>Monteith

    Colfer=O'Brien

  • @6blanks if what you are saying is that chris colfer was a better riff raff then, my god, are you deaf?

  • @chaddyfromtheblock

They're saying that Colfer is as good as O'Brien. You no understand the equals sign?

  • @TheMintyMuffin I understand equal signs. I just do NOT understand why anyone would perpetuate such a lie. That Glee pipsqueak couldn't hold a candle to Richard O'brien. Just for a reference, I listened to some of the songs Colfer sing. I LITERALLY laughed when I heard it. He is no where near an equal to O'brien. Listen to(in this song) 1:45 - 2:00. Sorry, but if you think colfer is equal to o'brien, you are out of your mind.

  • @chaddyfromtheblock

I think that they both have great voices. Call me crazy.

  • O'Briens voice is like a volcano of emotion about to explode!!

  • @Myflesh101 god yes. i couldn't think of a better way to put it!

  • Great song with that awesome Riff Raff PEAK

  • Think of it like this....because Glee covered it, a LOT of people will seek out the original who might not ever see it otherwise. The Glee versions weren't nearly as good as the original, but I don't really think they ruined anything or embarrssed themselves.

  • @SkitsoRasputin the guy who played Riff Raff in the movie was the guy who wrote the original story of rocky horror just thought you might find it useful to know :D

  • @jhonalhem How can you say something like that? are you stupid? Glee bastardized this amazing movie and turned it into unoriginal crap! I just don't understand how you can possibly say that some corporate crap is better than this movie, this movie that gives solace to so many freaks. They ruined everything! This is the original and Glee can never measure up to it. So take your sold out ass out of here and go watch Justin Bieber sing Baby or something that is more your level!

  • @jhonalhem Go die please.

  • @jhonalhem The only comment for that: Shut up.

  • @jhonalhem Oh man Your just tryin to piss people off aren't You?

  • @jhonalhem FALSE.

  • That little solo makes the movie for me!

  • i was in the rocky horror picture show fan club when i was a kid, i got a card and a pin. i felt so cool

  • Riff Raff is the greatest character and Rick O'Brien has a bloody beautiful voice!

  • Hey i think its a great song :D

I'm not emerged from the semester when the film is but I think he's still great: D

  • @SkitsoRasputin There is something more to Riff Raffs solo that is so profound and meaningful but I just cant describe or express what I feel.

  • i wish they had this at prom XD

  • i love frank n furter! xD

  • i have the hugest crush on riff raff!!!!

  • @SkitsoRasputin Ohhh i still have a crush on riff raff <3 and FRANK N FURTER! :D

  • who else thinks this is the best musical fricken ever!!!!!?

  • @mtefv I dooo!

  • @mtefv well its not andrew lloyd webber, but its probably my favorite

  • @mtefv I DO!!!!!! I own the figurine's, DVD, blue-ray,poster,costume's,and T-shirt's. ;)

  • @mtefv

  • as i said about it knock dont sing

  • HAPPY HALLOWEEN to everyone out there who loves halloween as much as i do....

  • I love Richard O'Brien <3 The man is amazing <3 He's got a lovely singing voice <3

  • Classic!!

  • @SkitsoRasputin i still have a crush on him... lol.

  • @kaleelee2309 Me too. And his sister as well.

  • OMG Classic.. Love it...

  • i use to have this soundtrack!!:)

  • i have seen this movie over 1000 times and this song still gives me chilles

  • I love this track!!

    TRHPS is fantastic!

  • hah! i have this soundtrack on cassette tape! XD

  • @lukaluei Me to!

  • @mpmajer Awesome! :D I just love it, lol

  • Love this movie but...the name of the song is actually "There's a Light."

  • @HOCKEYDEFENSE1 many people think that, but the true title is "over at the frankenstein place'. its listed as that on the movie soundtrack, and in the sheet music to the movie the song is registered and credited as that title by Richard O Brien. Great song tho aint it.

  • @kortick50 oh...didn't kno that. But yes, it is a great song. :)

  • This is a lame confession, but.. the awesomeness of this song makes me cry :))

    RHPS ftw

  • god help me I love this shit

  • @SkitsoRasputin well, who doesnt have a crush on little Riffy? ^_^

  • I agree -- O'Brien's solo part is terrific but I love the whole song with Susan Sarandon. One of the best songs in an album of great tunes.

  • I agree -- O'Brien's solo part is terrific but I love the whole song with Susan Sarandon. One of the best songs in an album of great tunes.

  • this is my favourite song on the soundtrack.

  • der film ist echt cool:)

  • @thebeatles640 Es ist fantastisch :D

  • love this movie! i even have a shirt that has the rocky horror picture show on it!

  • Pure classic!!

  • Richard's voice in this is so beautiful, I wish I could sound even a tiny bit like that.

  • I love Susan Sarandon in this song

  • i kinda agree

  • It really is beautiful <3 He is cute, in a way.

  • and Susan Sarandon is Janet...

  • How old was O'Brien when he wrote it? He must have been like 18!!

  • :D he was 22/23 ish when he wrote it :D

  • I know that he is Riff Raff, but when I first heard it, it sounded so strange...

    (Sorry for bad english)

  • Richard o brien, hosted a show in the uk called "the crystal maze"

  • i thought he's sort of cute...in the face at least...he looked familiar to me but i dont know what else he was in that makes me think that...

  • clue?

  • i looked him up but i didnt see any movies i have seen...he must look like someone in a movie or something...it could be that i've seen a part of a movie he was in and didnt pay attention to it or something...

  • Does Richard O` Brien sing Riff Raff`s part?

  • I do believe so.

  • yep(:

  • He is Riff Raff.

  • O'Brien and RiffRaff are the same, and O'Brien is also the person who wrote "The Rocky Horror Picture Show".

I've seen it 27-times at what used to be the Sena Mall Theatre in Metairie, La. Seeing it at home is nothing compared to "experiencing it" in a theatre full of fans that act out the film...
