I think this format was too big for weekly TV. I think the producers should have paid Judy a shyt load of money and produced MONTHLY specials, that way she could rest and take of herself, and instead of taking the show for granted people would have looked forward to her monthly specials.

Wonderful sequence. And I love how Barbra comes onstage at the end of the first number, already belting in perfect harmony. It's really a mutual admiration of two belters- and an indirect passing of the baton, though Judy gets a spectacular moment of glory on "You and the NIght and the Music."

@bmnl3636 She's saying "I like a Gershwin or Arlen tune, how about you?" Harold Arlen was a composer of a great many wonderful songs, including Hooray for Love. She's modified the actual lyric, which is just "I like a Gershwin tune, how about you?"
