I think that the interviewer didnt do his research on mos def I think that is what he should of done. But I dont think Mos Def wanted to nesscarily want to punch him in the face. If both of them seen this video after the interview they would both agree it was awkward, and mos would probably want to answer more questions.. besides his music.. maybe about his life I dont know...

I think people asking this must not be familiar with Mos Def. Because, he always sounds like this. He can speak with a clearer voice, like he does in some of his movies. But, yep, this is how he sounds most of the time.
