Rats are a lot more pressing an issue than 'zombies'. The rats here are not only real, but real hard to kill. And pesky, and I could write a book about it, it's so terrible. Is there an easy kill-solution to tree rats? Does anyone have any idea? I've tried exterminators, snap traps, stick 'em traps, vapor poisons, dogs, cats, cheap pellet guns (don't spend $75 on a gun and expect to be able to kill one of these things). Does anyone know where I could find a fox, or bobcat, or something similar?

@soundhitman this isnt airsoft. its 5.5mm lead ammo, and at 600fps it will kill small game.. airsoft at 700fps doesnt have the energy because its so light.

the airrowbows only copme in .177 , .22 and .68 cal. .68 = paintball but any paintball gun can shoot .50 cal ball bearings (the break ribs ball, as we call them)

@tonymarie1984 aw you cant pull 80pounds, doesnt matter, I guess you dont get that this is for archers..And theres no difference in how a spring air rifle works, the only difference is this a bow instead of a string.

So I generally get you dont like plinking cans.. so what do you practice on $20 "special targets" ?

@Me102288 Plinking cans involves a 12$ pellet gun and 5000 bb's for 3$ = 15$ i can shoot paper, pop cans, squirrels,chipmunks,frogs,smal­l birds. less work, less bull shit.

@badassdino the advangtage is being able to practice archery without breaking arrows.. you know an carbon arrow for an 80 pound draw is $15 a piece..

so what would you prefer? a gun of coarse.... if you were into archery, this is great, dont gotta goto the field, and retrieve your arrows every 12 shots 100 yards there, 100 yards back.. every 12 shots? boo, I have an airogun in .68 caliber for paintball

@TheRealQawser considering a 22.lr round travels twice as fast as this and only penetrates the skull rarely exiting. id said this would be useless against zombies..but with a bigger round like u said it might work..they have a paintball version that you could use to shoot steel ball bearings..there is a good chance that would crush a skull..but..im not about to spend 200 bucks on something that probably wont kill a zombie lol..but if u do and do some tests make a video about it

@graffiticandy and a spring bb gun stores its energy in a spring, so does a bow.. yet the crossbow is a stick attached to a bow, making it more rifle like then just the bow..a bow is a flat spring, you'll notice flat springs are used every where from the smallest little ratchet tool, to vehicle leaf springs. :-) theyre pretty usefull, especially to launch projectiles :-)

It should be easy to switch barrels to .177, if its measured to launch .22 there should be an increase in power with the smaller faster pellet?

I would be looking for the .25 rather than .177!!! At these ranges the larger calibre would be devastating! : )

@ICETEEBAG psst .. Magnet on the barrel, holds bb pretty good, I've modded most of my pellet rifles to shoot bb's, they go faster, and there cheaper :-)
