I'm a Christian, and I'm looking into purity rings. But I'm not trying to show off or follow a trend. I actually go to a private school, and from what I can tell, only a handful wear them. I want one as a reminder of a promise I made for myself, not the whole world.

I think if I met a woman that wanted to wait until we got married to have sex, it would be pretty special. Though I think premarital sex is OK. Does God get upset when you go get a great message at a pro parlor? No, and that can be very pleasurable. Not as much as sex, but still, that's OK. Sex contains pleasure and love. Why would God say don't do that in a healthy, respectful setting. The only real reason I can see for waiting, is to save that special act for the husband.

I think if I met a woman that wanted to wait until we got married to have sex, it would be pretty special. Though I think premarital sex is OK. Does God get upset when you go get a great message at a pro parlor? No, and that can be very pleasurable. Not as much as sex, but still, that's OK. Sex contains pleasure and love. Why would God say don't do that in a healthy, respectful setting. The only real reason I can see for waiting, is to save that special act for the husband.

@Philip991967 Well in his word, God has said Sex outside of marriage is SIN.Don't live in the flesh and seek what your flesh wants..deny yourself daily,pick up your cross and follow him.Sex is something God intended to be done inside of marriage...in the beginning he created a man and woman..what God puts together let no man separate.

@GodLovesUs100 Sex is a rare thing done, it is a special level of stimulation. But how does that make it that you have to be married to do it. If it is done in a respectful manner. How does that hurt who? I hope you are not over relying on the bible for your beliefs. Jesus and many of the apostles were killed. Don't think for a minute parts of the bible didn't meet the same fate, as bad as those acts indeed were. Also I recommend interpreting from the Greek, much can be found misinterpreted.

@Philip991967 Lol, the Bible is actually very clear on what it says on this issue-even n the the Greek...and it is not a good thing to have sex out of wedlock because God did not intend it to be so,so it is a perversion.Also,what if the person you end up have sex with is not the person you marry?Then you got another problem because you now have made an attachment to the other person-even if you don't realize it.Stop trying to justify sin based on your own understanding.

@GodLovesUs100 The Greek was only one of the two problems I stated of the bible. Adding to those two, is the ethnic survivability reason, the low birth rate, kept in a family structure. Needed for back then.
Why is it a wrong, you have no real reason. I can SAY it is good to cut all the bushes in the world down, because they are sin, and perverse. But with no reason, it is an empty statement. Attachment? Are you attached to you parents with love? No sin present, in respectful premarital sex.

@Philip991967 No,actually we still have Greek manuscripts and fornication is not only forbidden in the context of trying to maintain low population....it's forbidden in the sense that is is sexuality immorality.Go read 1 Corinthians 6:9.
And I can say it's wrong because God says it's wrong and he has authority to do so..you're just looking to try and justify sin based on your own understanding.I have never had sex with my parents,I am not attached to them in that way.

So if a dictator has authority over people, he can just say whatever huh, well that's pitiful. A God would be even more pitiful at that, he would be a dictatorial God. I ask for a reason, for a decision God has made. You then say he's a dictator, no reason still. God is reason, where is the reason.

My advice is, you really need to think a whole lot better about God, concerning his righteousness, and better about yourself concerning your personal humanity. How would there be true free will, if God ordered people to do this and that.
And still no reason from God, who is reason, non at all. You continue to say just because. I'm not trying to justify sin. I see a wonderful thing, with no reason to stop doing it.

Further more, a subject matter like premarital sex being wrong, needs a solid explanation. It's not even close to some random thing like arms being how they already are.
