My grandparents owned a small corner store and I always read the back of the bag before eating those yummy chips as a child growing up.

yeah, i didn't try them when i saw my husband say they were actually pretty hot. lol. if he thinks they are tame i am usually good to go.  lol

i never thought of that.  mostly i figured a great deal of marketing in this society was not geared toward being responsible because being responsible often calls for you to put your money somewhere responsible. but maybe people are changing.
