This album really inspired me I lost the tape I had gotten from a friend who said this guy is like the poor man's Steve Vai.Went into a used record store found the CD still got it RIP Ronnie thanks 4 the inspiration 22yrs still playin.
I can't believe how much this stuff sounds like what Satriani went on to become!!! I had this recording before I got the first two releases from Satch. I'd forgotten how good it is! But, WOW it's SOOOOO much like Satriani in the way the songs are structured and the melodies are such a signal for what was to come. Very similar tone too!
This morning we learn that Ronnie has died. I have this cassette. I believe that it is some of the best road trip music I ever heard. Just pop it in and let it play!
