Have to say...there is no comparison to Newfoundland and the rest of Canada...just because Newfoundland is part of Canada seriously means nothing...Newfoundland is definitely an entirely different place....Newfoundland is an entirely different place from the rest of the world!

I loves this vid I do. Being from Newfoundland, I can understand it. I daresay my friends couldn't tell a damn thing being said. I was watching this last night and just about died laughing. xD I love how the humor is pretty much lost on Americans, and even most Canadians cuz they can't understand a word we Newfies says.

I'm from Newfoundland but I live in Ontario now. I have 2 friends here who have probably never even heard a newfie accent. I was talking to them about it once, and I said "how's ya gettin' on by?" and they looked at me weird and said "nonby?" lol.

Not really. I mean technically it is. But with some things (cultural things) especially with the accents we are like a whole separate group of people.

@BrandNewGirl89 That's for sure. People from other parts of Canada practically need a translator when they go to Newfoundland. The language is almost completely different, even though it is English.
