They should've kept them running. It wasn't the passenger train that killed BCrail, it was the government at the time. The government wanted nothing to do with the railroad and as soon as it started to make a profit again, they sold it off to CN. Personally, the loss of this train is a kick in the face to all the men and women who kept it running all those years.
