I've been a scout leader in Troop 343 San Francisco for about 16 years now. For 13 years I have been making a movie of our scouting year for an annual Movie Night screening for scouts & parents. This year due to circumstances I was unable to make a film. Saw your film on PBS and will show it this year in place of my own film. Great job, wonderful film!
I've been involved in the Boy Scout program here in Salt Lake for seven years...two years as Scoutmaster. BSA is pretty big out here in Utah. I just saw this on PBS. It gave me goosebumps. Keep up the good work!
As a former Asst Camp Director across the reservation at Camp Kunatah, I think this film is awesome. I loved my time working with inner city scouts at TMR! Congrats on the awesome film and what is a great Troop!
I got to see the entire film courtesy of Justin and the movie is just great! It really captures not only the feeling of a new boy in Scouting but the SM, Mr. Sowah, and his ASM, Ms. Ann, really personify the dedicated scouter without whom no troop can thrive. Order it. See it. Get others to do the same! Get your Council to show it!
NICE!!! This looks Awesome! Ive been making my own doumentary of scout camp for 4 yrs but im not a pro, (just look at some of my videos.) I got lots of camp footage to edit and maybe Ill learn something from this film. look forward to seeing it. -Eagle scout Kevin Mocker
Ditto! What a great way to get the word out, if you will, of the neighborhoods and communities that scouting cultures. The "City Scout" is truly a special breed; it is daunting to master the urban and rural elements yet incredibly beneficial to both sides. Well done! I will share this with T150 and our OA Lodge; looking forward to seeing the movie!
Hey Justin. Again, we think your work on this is tremendous. You have captured the Scouting spirit and experience in a unique and heart-warming way. I can't wait to share this promo with my friends in Scouting; and also to have them see the full-length feature.
