@Dyana922 I'm Romanian. People might say that the relation of my country with Ukraine isn't exactly great, to say the least. But I personally love this song, I like Alyosha, she is very pretty, and her voice and lyrics are profound and struck a cord. I reckon it deserved a very high place. Perhaps, the podium should have been made up of Romania, Ukraine and Azerbaijan.

In any case, I admire my country's neighbor, Ukraine, for sending quality artists to EUROVISION, like when they won in 2004.Pax!

Very true and made me cry. However, much of this song stands on it's lyrics. Not everyone in Europe speaks English on that level, and so I would imagine that many people had no idea what she sang about. This is what lost this song a chance. Eurovision is more about politics, physical appearance and show.
