@tkorenstra Mitch Daniels is a joke these getting rid of Planned Parenthood getting charter schools and religious school vouchers and making the Indiana taxpayers pay for he decides to get the religious vote. Back in his college days he was caught with two shoeboxes of marijuana and acid and he only had to pay a $300 fine anyone else would went to jail for a long time. Everyone that had stock Nipsco energy services lost everything and he gained $1 million. Mitch Daniels is a crock.

@sonofatiger Planned Parenthood? Good riddance. And the vouchers are great because charter schools and religious schools are both far better than public schools. Why should smart kids have to waste away at public schools who dumb down their classes to better suit moronic kids who don't actually care about their education? And lots of people have done drugs or other stupid things when they're young. Mitch has done a great job here, and I'd support him for President hands down.

@sonofatiger Here's you don't know nothing about the Constitution that church and state is supposed to be separate and it does not matter what school or kid goes to his long as he's smart. But Indiana taxpayers should not be paying for any charter school charter schools Indiana paid for not brand-new public schools this past 10 years and we all need to be spend money on other schools. Maybe churches to start paying taxes if they want taxpayers money to pay for.

@sonofatiger I could really care less what he did with drugs. I don't use them but I could care less on those things if no one got hurt, lean libertarian on that. School vouchers is a good idea. If you want your child to go to a good school and your local public school is very bad, at least you have the option to go to the public school in a better district. I agree that he was trying to show he can be a social conservative when he defunded Planned Parenthood.

What the conservatives ignore is the poor population, kids, who are underrepresented. They deserve the dignity of basic health care access too. Jesus would look out for them. Conservatives are too busy looking out only for the self.

We have “Programs for the uninsured in Indiana”… conservatives don’t want to leave the poor behind, we want to give a hand up and find a cost effective way to help those who still need it.

This conservative is committing personal time and dollars to helping those in need over vacation this summer along with other good citizens in my community. I’m sure you do the same. I find my time and money go a lot further in helping others if I decide to use it rather than relying on a bureaucracy that at best can only deliver a few cents of very dollar I send them to those who truly need the help.

I would vote for this man for president in a heartbeat. He's everything we need in an elected official. But are Americans mature enough to elect such a man? Can a man who is follically challenged be elected by the childish American Public? My gut instinct says no. Dwight Esinhower probably could not be elected today as he was in 1952 and 1956. We were a much more mature country in that time. Still I hope that I wrong and this man runs.
