First off, thank you, Greg. Your reviews have inspired me to expand my tastes in beers. I normally drink what you call "lawn mower beers", mostly Bud Light. Perfectly fine for a hot summer day or a party-like atmosphere, but a little lacking in taste. I saw this beer at Walmart, of all places, and decided to give it a try, I've enjoyed German beers in the past. I thoroughly enjoy it, and searched to see your thoughts on it. Glad to see you enjoyed it as well. Think I'll drink another. Cheers!

Revisited this one tonight and compared to Weihenstephaner (my favorite hefe). So far it's Weihenstephaner by a nose, but both are wonderful beers. So refreshing!

hefes are my fav...brau weisse and franziskaner are my go 2s. i also enjoy a good guinness or murphys stout..great reviews...yours beer reviews are the best on youtube...you should be on beer commercials like the gentleman on the dos equis!

Just learning beer tastes and properties. The banana flavor in this beer is probably the most obvious though. I'm not big on Hefeweizens, more of a stout drinker, but this beer is very good on a warm summer day in the sun. I'd give it a high 7 on a scale of a 1-10. Great recommendation!

Bavarian Hefe Weizens are my All Time Fav Style, have been for years. A friend of mine turned me onto Franziskaner when he returned from Germany as an Exchange Student and I've been drinking this style ever since. Paulaner is my 3rd fav of the style. Franzikaner Hefe or Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier are my favs, All of them are an A though. I usually buy Franziskaner because it's the least expensive of the 3.

im having some of this right now..u cant go wrong with a hefeweizen. have u ever tried Widmer Hefeweizen? its a great beer..you will definately like it..u can really taste the banana and the overall smoothness is excellent
