@KristinDaie Considering the state of RG in the United Kingdom (hardly any clubs, lack of funding, all attention to sport is wasted on football) I think she and the other GBR gymnasts have done very well to get into Europeans. If you think she is that bad check out India's routines from 06 Commonwealth Games.
When I was practicing in Russian Olympic Village, we had 2 British gymnasts Vicky n Tania (Don't know their Family names). They never wanted to do anything n weren't respecting the coaches at all! If u do RG in Post-Soviet countries, u do it 24/7 n coaches r closer than ur parents... N u can't really argue with them, if they say 1000 press ups, u'll have to do them)) Can't say I prefere this method, but it works) The systems r very different...
@KristinDaie Well, whoever those gymnasts are, they should have considered themselves extremely lucky to be working with coaches on such a high level. I myself am a gymnast in the UK and I don't think I, or any of the other gymnasts in my club would display such an attitude at such a good opportunity.
Really? I am a gymnast as well. @ the age of 15, there were 10 of us. Then coz of the physical injuries, there were 3 left. I myself, had my knee cup dislocated several times, n I needed to have a surgery on my back. (coz bending like it, is not normal)
But if u really wanna try it, u can contact the Russians n come there 4 the summer. Then u'll c the factory of gymnasts) (Will give u contacts if u want)
@CookieMonstaar
To b honest i dont really like Kaneva ether. Russia had brilliant gymnasts but madam Viner decided not to chose them( (like Seledchik and Andronova).
