Bob was more 'regal' than any earthly monarch. He had no desire or need for the fawning adulation given to earthly monarchs by their 'subjects'.
imho, only those those in denial could fail to recognize Bob's profound & humble understanding of modern society & his ability to see beyond it's 'veil' to reveal the *truth*.
A true role model for peace, his creativity; legacy & message endures, perhaps more now than ever.
The 3 disc "Grooving Kingston 12" has a wealth of otherwise unpublished material. This song, this recording (I'm sure, I've listened to it countless times) is on the set.
Good, rare Marley. I really dig the set and strongly recommend it.
@morulaborator You're more likely to find them throughout the web and such before you'll find them sold anywhere. There are A LOT of unheard Bob songs - a good person to follow is Roger Steffens who is known to have the largest Bob Marley archive perhaps aside from the Marley family themselves. He often does a Bob Marley program where he will play and show things that 99% of the public has never heard or been aware of.
@LionOfJudah80 I met Roger at a playing for change concert in Denver. Super chill dude, he gave me 4 CDs that had songs that aren't even up on youtube
I love bob's music, his messages and his strenght of carachter.. once i saw this interview where this woman was basically calling rasta's thugs and really berating bob...which was obviously really hard for his as Jah Rastafari was his life, and he didnt even get angry;she asked him what his problem was with Babylon and why his 'people' were rejecting the 'fruits of babylon' and he just says; 'eh woman we no reject the fruits of babylon cos babylon ain got no fruit'!LOL Best comeback EVER..R.I.P
@newrealization12 most his songs send out that get up n feel good vibe but he does have a few emotional tracks like they set you up my son, im hurting inside, shes gone, bablyon system, ambush in the night and many more. i dont see him just as a happy man but a man who was in touch with his emotions and sent them out through vibes in his music and lyrics he was brought to us by Jah to chant down babylon and rid the world if spiritual wickedness in all its forms he was a natural mystic of r time
the only people not dealing with depression at times are the ones who are controlled by others and allow the tyrants of this world to do it. he cured depression mate!
bob marley and the wailers "songs of freedom" has this on it. Its actually called "acoustic medley" and this is either part 2 or 3 of 3 parts of the song.
throw out your copy of legend and but "songs of freedom"
you wont regret it! its a compliation of their best work.
just when i am talking about how i am planning on leaving my home next year to journey the world.. a major life desiscion... i come apon this song for the first time... "i said i better make up my mind, what am i gunna doooOooO?
am i gunna rest up here. or am i gunna Push on through"
this song just made me cry.. lol... so beautiful.. i hope i dont miss my train...
and its times like this when i truly believe this man was a prophet.
Thedevin, I was simply commenting about bob, since its a post on a video, of ?bob? so why do you have to come and respond to my comment with your assinine remark? Of course its not fair, but do I or anyone else care about anything pertaining to anyone other than bob on this message board? I think not.

@00BO00BO Hard to say - most of Bob's songs were all done on the acoustic guitar at first - then later on developed into full songs...
