I've read the Qur'an in english and arabic several times. Most of the punishments in this film are based on Qur'an and Sunnah. I watched videos, I was disgusted, I tried my best to prove this isn't Islam, I failed.
I left Islam. It was the hardest thing I did, but also the most simplest way to become fully free from the disease of religions, all religions.

You do not teach anyone a lesson by killing them nor do you promote the right form of thinking to the world. I would much rather have a population struggle to learn what's right in an open debate than to have it enforced and ruled through fear. The best lessons are explained and justified through reasoning, not force fed through threats.
