Throwing a baseball won't save your life in a battle field but real fighting arts might, silent killing has its place in elite forces. Its comparing apples and oranges, different kinds of training. Not everyone wants to place baseball, just as everyone doesn't want to learn martial arts. And just because the monk in question is good at throwing a needle doesn't mean he would be good at throwing a baseball.

@coxscorner Actually real martial arts were developed by INDIAN buddhist monks for meditation purposes, its the honing and syncing of Body and mind. Which is why Shaolin monks are known for feats of strength and endurance. It's a spiritual excercise that culminates from the extreme concentration required for most of these amazing feats they accomplish. It wasnt until a Travelling monk developed Kung-Fu to fight off bandits, who instructed the chinese monks in a self defense form of martial art.

im wondering why there are three holes in the glass? the needle did go through the glass but at the top left, and there were two holes more to the center of the glass. hhhhhmmmmm? also it would be more impressive if there was a fleshy object on the other side for the needle to stab into, or go through.

Actually, when you look at it frame by frame, the top left hole is where the needle comes out, you can see the debris. I'm betting it was a third take.. the other two attempts hitting hard enough to make dents, but not break through. this is probably a mash up video.. still cool.
