its a decent version..but the pause after every word kind of hurts it. the voice is definitely there and if she sang it a bit smoother it would better than rin"s
@fandrawersstudios ... sorry, but have you ever even used utau before? Fanmade vocaloid implies it uses vocaloid, which it doesn't. It's its own engine, its NOT a knock off.Oremo is free software lmao, i use it.There are no utau companies lol what are you talking about?
Though the begin's a bit strange, it's incredibly well done.
Mako does have a strange voice range, so it's hard making something what really fits her. This isn't made for her, but it matches perfectly with her trumPRetty voice!
im confused. Is utauloid a vocaloid that a ordanry person made up and bought the vocaloid software and used their voice? or is it a differnt company? im so confused and would apreciate someones replay! '^^
@Minamiuotani woah, no need to get so defensive. I wasn't trying to insult you. D: you missed my point. My point wasn't how the software works. It was that they work on essentially the same basis.
Concept? People use vocaloid the same way they use utau. I have seen many original songs sung by utau instead of vocaloids. The only difference is that utau is free. They have the exact same concept. Just because vocaloid costs money doesn't mean you can't make professional songs with utau.
Actually, meiko and kaito were made by yamaha while luka miku rin and len were made by crypton. They don't use the same engine or were produced, designed or released by the same people. The only similarity is the software does the same basic thing. How is that different to utau?
but...they're not even remotely related except for what they're made to do. Vocaloid2 voice banks used the same yamaha engine, but utau is a completely different program.
you could argue that gakupo and gumi aren't vocaloids because they don't use the yamaha engine
vocaloid2 uses a modified version of the yamaha engine, so it's not the exact same thing. they're all still counted as vocaloids though, even though they are made by different companies/use different software.
actually, it works pretty much the same. you import a VSQ (or for utau a UST) you select a singer, you can make it sing the song, or if you want import an midi of music you made and make it sing it. the only difference is it is not as high as quality, the singers are free (and you can make your own one) and it is a little bit harder to use.
oh, so miku/rin/len/gumi/gakupo/miki or anyone isn't vocaloid because they don't use the original vocaloid engine that meiko/kaito had?
I'm not saying a thing about how the software works, and THANKS for the totally unneeded explanation that a three year-old could figure out...
What I AM talking about, however, is the general concept. Vocaloid is professional, UTAU is for the general populace to use and have fun with in creating their own virtual them, as a singer.
Also, yes I am, actually. They are NOT Vocaloid, they are Vocaloid2, because they use a different engine.
@JadeLaunders they're not different companies. i think they're just different version or batch..
utaloids on the other hand are fanmade.. they're just edited voices of the vocaloids. example.. miku's voice's pitch is 123 ... haku's voice was just made lower to 97 ...
@MichixGintoki ... what. Are you serious? There are 3 main vocaloid companies atm; Crypton, SH-software, Internet Co. and Yamaha is starting to get involved too. They are made by different companies.
watwatwatwatwat. um, no. lol. that's illegal. you CANNOT make an utau with someone else's voice without consent, THAT IS ILLEGAL. Haku is not an Utau, she is a fanmade vocaloid. I made my utau with MY OWN VOICE, if you don't use a consenting voice, it's not an offical utau.
@JadeLaunders Yamaha makes the voices .__. and it's AH-software and you forgot to include Power FX and Zero-G but the other companies (NOT YAMAHA) make the character designs and sell them by their own price .________.
@tech41918 what? lol. No, Yamaha only makes the vocaloid engine. The companies make the voice and the characters. The ONLY one Yamaha have made is VY1 and they're in the process of making VY2.
@MichixGintoki -- and Kaito weren't. They are made using a completely different engine; they are using the vocaloid1 engine while miku, rin, len, luka, gumi, gakupo, miki, lily, kiyoteru, yuki and pretty much all the new ones are made using the vocaloid2 engine, which is not the same engine and is different software.
... and I'm sorry, but I really am just offended by the whole utau thing. Please find out what you're talking about before you say it (not trying to be mean btw, sorry if I am)
@JadeLaunders Uhh...UTAU is not Vocaloid. UTAU is a completely different program. Vocaloid and Vocaloid2 were made by Yamaha, UTAU by Ameya. Any character made with the software "Vocaloid" or "Vocaloid2" is a Vocaloid. Any character made with anything else is not. What company made the character doesn't matter.
Also, MEIKO and KAITO were made by the same company that made Miku, Rin, Len, and Luka(Crypton Future Media). MEIKO and KAITO were just made with Vocaloid, while the others are Vocaloid2.
@TheCursedBlessing my point was not that they were the same program. at all. my point was that if you're going to call UTAU a knock off program of vocaloid, why isn't the vocaloid2 system a knock off? considering that it is a brand new program based on vocaloid, it's similar in concept to UTAU. If people say Teto etc is a knock off, why not Miku, Len, Rin, Luka, etc.? That was my point.
lol, um, I know that? read my other comments. I corrected myself on that error already.
@JadeLaunders To the second reply: Sorry, 'twas my fault I didn't look at the date of your comment.
To the first reply: I only saw your first comment since it was rated up 82 times, not the others. I apologize for re-saying things.
Vocaloid2 is not a knockoff because it is by the same company, under the same series. Saying it is a knockoff of Vocaloid would be like saying Miku Append is a knock off of Miku. I don't think UTAU is necessarily a "knockoff", but it IS influenced by Vocaloid.
@TheCursedBlessing no it's okay, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come off mean like that. Oh no, I never said it wasn't influenced. Obviously it is XD But so is vocaloid2... do you get what I mean? XD; My point was that neither were knockoffs. My original comment was directed at someone here who had commented "A Utauloid that is played by someone from niconico. Utauloids are just knock off vocaloids." it made a lot more sense lol.
@TheCursedBlessing P.s. good job replying to a comment over a year old. You do realise I don't want to really talk about this comment any more...? I'm sorry if I come off a mean, but I'm really getting replies on a comment I wrote more than a year ago.
Yeah, the REAL knock offs are the people who pitch change and do a crappy recolor of an original Vocaloid and call it their OWN fan Vocaloid, or even Utau. That REALLY annoys me, it's so unoriginal and uncreative!
@JadeLaunders correction UTAU is a freeware to make your own voice whuile vocaloid is a professional synthesizer and vocaloid 2 is a modified more realithic also kaito, meiko and the CV vocaloids (miku, rin len, luka) are made by the same people
@dannesil ... what are you talking about? I know UTAU is freeware lol. I use it. I have my own UTAU. lololol. she is not played by someone from Nico Nico Douga, she is an UTAUloid. and UTAU is a voice synthesizer program like VOCALOID, but it is free and more difficult to use. but i heard Mako's a bit easier to use than some of them.
Her voice is based off someone from niconico and they used her voice to make Nagone Mako. Just wiki vocaloid it. I'm correct. Utauloids are knockoffs. They are freesoft ware and vocaloids aren't. Gakupo is also based off an actual singer.
All Vocaloids from the Vocaloid2 series are based off of real voice actors' voice banks. Kaito and Meiko are completely computerized, using only a few voice samples as a base for the vocal engine.
UTAU is like the Vocaloid2 software, excpet it grants the user ability to create their own Utau. It's not a knock-off because it's a completely different program in sound and usage. It was NOT developed by Crpton Future Media nor Yamaha. It's free and harder to use.
