You can throw more rounds out the saiga just pulling the trigger as fast as you can than the aa12 shoots on full auto and the recoil is still very controlable on the saiga. @edi Well, with over double the fire rate of the AA12, and a 30 round drum of 3" magnum and i dont care if its a tad less accurate as those 30 rounds will be out in less than 3 seconds. So im fairly sure that whom ever is at the receiving end of this not as accurate weapon will be riddled full of holes. Its a shotgun... Accuracy? Maybe with slugs at long distance, which the Saiga does better than most every shotgun made. Recoil? only the AA12 has less and its extremely limited on flexibility.

@lotsofbiggunsagain Well Mossberg's are known to Kick Like a mule. i have a 500 and a 590 Tactical. all i can say is don't shoot 3 inch 2 oz. slugs through the 590 unless you want to be sore for a week. :-) the hardest kicking shot gun i ever shot was on old school savage 16 ga. side by side. that thing on light loads would bruise you black and blue. but it was also the best shooting gun i ever owned too. they don't make em like they used too thats for sure.

I prefer the Saiga over the AA-12. The saiga looks way better than the AA-12, it's available to civilians, there are tons of accessories for it, stocks, forearms, grips, mags, optics, and parts that alter the gun itself. All the AA brings to the table is that it looks like I'm holding my Saiga's box with a barrel sticking out, and it will most likely have the same fate the early M16 had, reliability issues, supposedly you don't have to clean it till every 10,000 rounds which is BS once fieldtest

You should research this a little more, but not everyone uses Russian guns. For the most part, military grade weapons are of worse or no better quality than any AR or other rifle. Most military's don't like using either, the guns and ammo are just dirt cheap. The Russian designed guns we are allowed to own arent a good representation of other Russian guns.
