@UnitedJetSetter I'm not 100% sure, but I think it might've been Dec 11th, which was a Saturday, and that is a day that makes sense for me to go to the airport for fun.
@FLIGHTCOMPANY The Daily Parking Garage 2 on the roof is definitely the best place, but you only get a great view of Runway 1C/19C, and a view from far away of Runway 12/30 - no view of Runways 1R/19L and 1L/19R. You can go to the Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum to get a good view of Runway 1R. Unfortunately, there's no good place for an average person to go spotting of Runway 12/30, which is where most planes take off from at Dulles.
