Now, I know that there is (at least) v21 for Last XP out, and I'm still using normal XP Pro, but I'm curious, are there any limitations to what Last XP can display? Any maximum Hz or Screen Resolution? Anything to worry about, any caveats? Or is Last XP simply a better, stronger, more efficient, cleaner, faster, more stable, modification of XP Pro?

This may be a stupid question, but is last XP different to, say, my version of XP? For example, is last XP simply a program that will install Windows XP on my computer or is it a slightly different operating system that is based on Windows XP?

Also, in the above video, what drivers are those? Are those the drivers ones that come with last xp or the ones that are already on the computer pre-formatting?

Lastxp IS windows xp but with lots of themes and programs. "The way windows is ment to be" is the catch phrase because all the crappy programs for xp have been discarded, and all the best programs are on it. Lastest driver packs are included covering a wide range of hardware. Depending on the lastxp version is to how new the drivers will be in the packs.

It still shoulda work as soon as you select it the which drivers ato put it on. Then you should come up to that screew. I had the same thing happen but i intalled it.

hey,I have a problem I've donwload and burned this but when i try to install it gives an error copying a file (I dont remember the file name, it has a 97 or 95 .sys ending on its name) and when my computers reboot I only get a blue screen with an error.

help me please i want to get rid of vista!!!

When you install lastxp you can choose the "Leave the current file system intact (no changes)" option so when it reboots you are given an option to which xp you want to boot. Lastxp is however intended to be run alone so its not advised. You can use vista boot pro to install lastxp if vista is installed first. I will try to put this in my next video.

After you downloaded it, search Google for a program named BURNCDCC to make your windows bootable (search for the most stable version).

Burn at the LOWEST SPEED!

Introduce the CD, Boot from CD and follow the video.

Well i use LastXP v15 and i want to install this one. I got all I need (the install kit from Mininova) and I don't know how to make it bootable. It was an .ISO image when i first downloaded it, then i maked a CD based on this ISO with Nero Burning Rom and still not bootable. Can you help me?

have you checked your hardware? maybe your dvd rom is playing up. If you have windows installed you can use Microsoft Virtual PC to check installing problems. I used virtual pc to make this video.

this is great. it's called last xp because it's the last xp you'll ever use, heck it may even be the last operating system you use if you choose to stick with windows (vista=pos). I love how they took the ONLY good things from vista and put them into XP. The install program is great for beginners or for advanced users. the default options are a little ram intensive due to the many things this is capable of doing (it tries to show off on first boot hehe)

System requirements are the same as windows xp cause it is windows xp. You might need a little more ram/space for the programs but other than that it should work the same if not better, when using the lastxp system tweaks that is.

Explore the disk for MyOEM\Settings\Settings.exe file, your dvd rom might be having trouble reading this file. Try MyOEM\MyOEMSettings.exe. if not try another dvd rom or re-burn at a slower rate.

Wow that's all i can say.I just installed this last night and it's amazing. I would suggest during software selecting that you just choose all. I was about 3/4 the way through reading all the descriptions of the products and the system took the screen away. If that even is a complaint that would be the only one. This thing is blazing fast and beautiful. It's a work of art. My only question is; is it legal? If so you should sell this back to Microsoft as to what Vista SHOULD have been. Bravo guys

It took the screen away because it had finished installing windows. You can run the wpi program setup afterwards anyway. For people that have purchased windows and the software all ready this is not illegal but is a handy way to install everything hassle free.
