I've watched the film and, although it raises a lot of interesting points I don't like the way how some of the people abandoned their families to find a spiritual path. I find that quite selfish. End of the day you have kids you have a responsibility to look after them.
@Lucanking In actual fact, no one abandoned any children - I think you must have misunderstood that one. But if you do formed fixed relationships that don't evolve and change, then it's hard to imagine how someone could really evolve themselves in this context. I observe two kinds: selfishness of the ego, which is based on fear and attachment and is truly selfish; then there's 'selfishness' of the higher self, which has the higher interests of all life at heart - for me, that is not selfish!
We will have help next month. Feb 2011. The good news is that with the north node entering Sagittarius in February, we all will be engaged in spiritual activation and the struggle for justice, so our consciousness is turned in a positive direction all year.
