Hate the wealthy? Give to the less fortunate? "Even the playing field" ?
Here are average yearly incomes of several countries:
Brazil $8,135

To even the playing field, we must "de-develop the USA" , redistribute the wealth globally (take your income) vis cap and trade and other measures. How does socialism look to you now? It's not taking money from the wealthy -- it's taking your money!

Was he only 1/2 through the bill? The economy sucks under President Obama and now he wants to raise costs even more. We will be GREEN and in soup lines, while China and India pollute.

Its about deficits mounted by obama and BIG SPENDERS in Congress!
CBO estimate that by enacting the legislation, it would reduce future budget deficits about $4 billion over 2010-2014 period and by about $9 billion over the 2010-2019 period... so wheres all the rest of the money going to?
Even Congressional Members, after NOT reading the bill but voting on it anyway, have NO IDEA!

He's been excellent. The only person who actually analyze the mad bill. Unlike others, I don't think that this was a filibuster of any kind.
I think that even with his somewhat long speech, they dedicated to the discussion of this proposal roughly 20 times less time than this new de facto communist revolution in the U.S. would deserve.
The Senate will stop this lunacy but if it won't, then RIP, USA.
