  • Thank you so much! All of the kitties in this video were adopted, however, we have about a dozen in foster care at this time. Please visit our website Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue it's a dot org, to see a few of our available Ragdolls ... and tell all of your friends!

  • Adorable!!

  • There's really no excuse to do anything but adopt a rescue if you want a cat, especially with so many pure-breeds needing homes if you really want pedigree. Spread the word, people, and frown heavily at people who buy from shops and breeders!

  • Gorgeous! I didn't know about Ragdolls until two of my rescued cats were identified (by veterinarian) as purebred Ragdolls. I've never sought purebreeds, so I was shocked to learn the number of pure Ragdolls (and other breeds) in shelters/rescues. Most people are not aware of this and believe that a breeder is necessary to find a purebred pet. It's tragic; so many purebreeds are waiting in rescue centers. Adoption cannot be recommended highly enough, for both mixes (my favorite) and purebreeds.

  • @lucybells0

In the 60s it was noticed in the UK that Persians were being given up for rehoming not just because of grooming needs or "they don't match our new decor" (I shit you not, that has been given as a reason) but because they "bring in mice" or "kill & eat pigeons" - ie. expensive pedigree fluffies behaved like regular cats and sought every chance to do so which was unacceptable to these appallingly callous owners. There are still Persian rehoming centres here - alas the problem remains

  • So many beautiful ragdolls
