    PRESS R TO UPGRADE RANKING!

  • Lol guys , everyone knows that linux only works for something:

    Servers.

Some guyys might say that is perfect , or it loads in less then a minute , but no it sucks for gaming and there is no good applications for it.

For example the only way you can put a dropbox on the windows server using linux is using the 'Samba' so Linux only works for server and sucks for gaming and Internet.

  • Hey is that a Nintendo Wii? Awesome.

  • i have speech easter egg! i typed word is 'crotch' and Microsoft Sam says 'Crow's Nest', lol

  • An easier way to get to the hidden song would be to open up Run (Windows key + R) and type in "oobe". It takes you straight to the "oobe" folder where you can just open up images and find the song.

  • nice video man it explains everything really well

  • You've got a slow computer!! When you open up My computer it takes a long time!

  • the music isnt hidden,

you hear it when you setup windows XP after a fresh install.

  • your computer is facking slow dude!

  • To people thinking that the "secret song" is a secret, it isn't a secret or easter egg, It is what you hear when you install windows xp to a computer. The reason most people don't hear it is because you need to install the audio drivers before you can hear anything in windows, it only works when you install it to a hard drive that had windows xp on it before or when you are using the recovery tool in most hp computers.

  • lol, 畂桳栠摩獥琠敨映捡獴=Bush Hides the Facts XD!!!

  • how do you get your theme like that

  • First one is the folder for the initial set up, contains all the things that are shown in setup, including the music

  • just for your information, the easter egg song is the song that plays while you are installing Windows XP

  • u can just right click on the desktop and go new and then shortcut and then name it system 32!

not that my comment is about this....

the `hidden` music is in fact not really hidden.

of you install windows xp, you will get the setup screens.

while you go through the setup, it will play this music.

i found out by experience on a HP: ;)

  • The first track in the oobe folder is the music they use after you have installed the Microsoft Windows operating system and setting up your preferences, e.g. user account and Internet connection; oobe is the name of the service they use to do it.

  • Mount Albert桳栠Ying獥琠敨mongoose seized

Those are parts of the facts

  • i bet ou a re a linux user.

using microsoft with a wii background.

    lol

media center is a class OS though.

microdoft has made alot of easter eggs, some were intentional, but you know microsoft, they never explain things very well in great detail.

as they wouldn't endorse it, lol.

  • I have tried Linux but I would only use it on old computers. Its rubbish for gaming on

  • @gadget3000 suse, a version of linux, came with awesome games

  • @gadget3000

How dare you sir! Linux is the best for everything!

It's kind of hard to set up the game drive on Ubuntu, but if you do it right the games are super high quality and all of that crap.

  • the com saids NO ACESSES!

  • The wierd part is that they all work.

  • whats the bush thing say? I save it as EGG!.txt and when I go in it it still says it

  • kewl man. thanks for posting this!

  • gadget3000, what theme are you using for windows xp? It looks cool, and I want to download it. What is it called? Thanks!

  • It's the theme from Windows XP Media Edition. I can't remember where I downloaded it for Home Edition though.

  • Go to Google and search "Royale" theme. I have it on my computer too.

  • @johnmayerroxmysox it's called "Royale"

  • @johnmayerroxmysox If in the year since you made the comment you haven't found out, it's called Energy Blue and yes, it was included with WIndows XP MCE.

  • I Don't have nothing In Oobe!

    Is A Problem Or Not?

    Please Awnser!

  • I didn't either you probably have a newer computer like me.

  • Many peoplehave the same problem, maybe they have newer or older computer that dont have this feature.

  • Hidden files maybe,

  • cool

  • you are awesome

  • The music is also in the Restoration console.

  • love the candy pipes

  • Awesome vid. I'll try these.

  • you said easter egg WAAAAY too much in that. Other than that, nice video!

  • ah now the bush thing is good.

  • I found a gun *bangbangbang* wav file in the system32 folder!

  • o look i feel like eggs

  • the music is the install files used when xp is setup after install.

  • your computer is so slow but nice triks jejeje

  • its not slow its cuz of hypercam

  • ahh, what nice music! why did windows keep it hidden? lol!

  • what music?

  • nice

  • It's not an Easter egg (even though it seems like a funny one), and as it turns out, Notepad writes the file correctly. It's only when Notepad reads the file back in that it seems to lose its mind.

But we can't even blame Notepad: it's a limitation of Windows itself, specifically the Windows function that Notepad uses to figure out if a text file is Unicode or not.

  • i found one it's accualy a hidden game :P

  • you mean the one that you got off my video? :D lol jk...

  • Thats awesome dude make another if u find more stuff tnx for the vid and 5/5

  • i love that music its sooo realxed

  • the bush thing will also work with any file with 4 words with the lengths of 4, 3, 3, 5 (respectively)

"real men use forks" would also work.

  • Psst, the music is not a secret or anything.

    It's the install.music. :P

    Good vid btw

  • why no music?

  • I thought you might not like what I do and that you would prefer to listen to your own.

  • Except you DONT WIN with the solitaire; you lose the 52 dollars every time you do that trick...

  • whered you get that theme cool Wii wallpaper

  • Search engine

  • it is not wii theme it only on Windows XP Media Center Edition like i have it

  • awesome vid, luved the solitaire

  • the bush thing was soo funny! =)

  • shortcut for the song

    start>run>type in oobe>go to images>search for title

  • from where did you get your xp theme? it looks different! nice vid BTW :)

  • its called media theme

  • If you type ANY sentence in notepad which the first word has 4 letters, the second and third words have 3 letters, and the last word had 5 letters it appears like that.

  • Nice background

  • The biggest mess up about windows is the fact you have to click a botton that says "start" to shutdown the computer

  • You are "Start"ing the shutdown process... =p

  • lol

  • oh haha i just realised that ;p

  • i like the vid very much, but that clock is not an easter egg

  • I love the windows welcome music. the clock one scared the c*ap out of me. the candy cane one is good for xmas.

  • what windows is that, thx for showing those easter eggs

  • the first egg, the title track...works just fine for me in winamp, kinda relaxing music :)

  • Irecorded my sound sheme on my guitar by just replacing files!

  • i like that bush hides the facts easter egg ! :D

  • The welcome music is there when you are first setting up your system, so it's not hidden

  • The music is atually when you first install

OOBE = Out Of Box Experence

  • what would happen if u replaced the song with another song so it would play that song when u start it up?

  • the pc got pwned, that happens lol

  • What if some one replaced title with what ever song they wanted, on the install disk? Is that even possible?

  • i love the music

  • whats about clock? i opened it and it was just a black screen -.-'

  • Are you using VLC media Player? It does the same for me but works on WMP.

  • u know that bush thing also works with the sentence "bush hid his secrets" without a period

  • The music at the begining is for the welcome to windows doohicky. The clock is a demo for something (can't remember what) The easy wins are probably for the purpose of debugging, so the programmer can jump to that section.

  • I think the clock was to test windows'es media player and to test if it cud play in real time or summin

  • I remember I discovered the freecell easter egg accidentally when I was like 10 years old

  • omg

  • damn nice vid!!!

  • omg thats so kewl... cool

  • The Clock one:

    Ctrl + R

    Type in clock.avi

  • is the clock proof that xp can count above 10??
