@talicatyoh the word tells us to lift up our brothers when they fall, unless we are tempted. It is the same principle with those who you know you need to stay away from so you will not fall into your temptation. It is a hard life lesson to learn that we cannot help everyone...but that does not mean God gives up. He is more than capable to reach them through someone else, and will do so on your behalf. It says in the bible not to give place to the devil, and keep the door shot, and if you go to these type of gatherings , you will at some point fall. Read the 1st and 2nd psalm, it talks about richeous man doesnt attend the gatherings of the wicked. Theres no point at all.. they will all be drunk, and you will be left out.

@HolmenDude yes, you are right, but if you are in rehab progress, you shouldn't spend time in areas that you dont have full freedom of. For example, if i am a minister, and i have a strong relationship with Jesus, i can go anywhere in the name of Jesus, and preach, and not get harm from it. However, if i am a new-comer, who repented not too long, battling, struggling with certain sin, i shouldn't interact with people that will make me stumble, i should help myself 1st. God bless

I think i've finally reached rock bottom in my life. I just did my research in Scripture to find why i've felt so empty lately when i felt so on fire for God just months ago. It's better to use correct punctuation, which is something not used in poems or song writing. "For there is Love that is as strong as Death." Basically we know that death is strong, but there is a Love (God's) that is as strong or stronger. "Jealousy demanding as the Grave." Notice the capitalization of both Jealousy and Grave. We know that the Grave is Hell...but the Jealousy of God is strong and demanding. Hope this helps!

I think the line "jealously demanding as the grave" is a pretty direct from scripture when Paul writes in the letters to the church at Romans and Philipi saying "one day every knee will bow, and tongue confess Lord Jesus is Christ" It's like, one day death will take us all, but so will the love of Jesus. The grave demands us at some point, we cant hid from that, but Jesus' answer to that is grace...

It's a little out of context here (which is debatable because some people believe that the Song of Solomon is metaphorical to our romance with God). I think i've finally reached rock bottom in my life. I just did my research in Scripture to find why i've felt so empty lately when i felt so on fire for God just months ago. I have given my life to sin and put that above God which has... well, destroyed me. I praise God for holding on to me and reminding me what's real before i've done worse. It's better to use correct punctuation, which is something not used in poems or song writing. "For there is Love that is as strong as Death." Basically we know that death is strong, but there is a Love (God's) that is as strong or stronger. "Jealousy demanding as the Grave." Notice the capitalization of both Jealousy and Grave. We know that the Grave is Hell...but the Jealousy of God is strong and demanding. Hope this helps!

@19SwitchFood91 I think it's more along the lines of a metaphor. Sit with me for a second. I think the line "jealously demanding as the grave" is a pretty direct from scripture when Paul writes in the letters to the church at Romans and Philipi saying "one day every knee will bow, and tongue confess Lord Jesus is Christ" It's like, one day death will take us all, but so will the love of Jesus. The grave demands us at some point, we cant hid from that, but Jesus' answer to that is grace...

It's a little out of context here (which is debatable because some people believe that the Song of Solomon is metaphorical to our romance with God). Jesus Culture has also done a song called 'Dance With Me' which is similar in drawing influence from that book. Hope this helped!
