Hey I live in Bridgeport CT and I just go to the Home Depot right down the road and they have the pink foam in 8'x2' by 1/2",1",1 1/2" and 2" from 7$ for 1/2" to 13$ for 2"
thickness I just walk around the store in the pluming section and hardware section and get ideas from stuff I buy there
yea i want the extruded polystrene..the bubbly white stuff is horrible....i try and cut it and it just goes wrong...fancy making a vid on how to cut the bubbly white stuff probably lol
haha..yea i have loads of the bubbly white stuff....its getting hold of the blue stuff...that website you gave me looks ok..ill see there pricing and stuff. but that celotex looks awesome
Yo....we have celotex over here....in england...which is like a bleach bone colour....its cavity wall but has the same consistency all that that of styrofoam
yea...its hard to find over here....i mean stryofoam...but ive been told this celotex works fine and its cheap...for a 6ft by 6 ft sheet with a 50mm thickness for like 60 bucks.....or 26 if you live over in england :)
Tad expensive, eh. Cheaper than here though. It is not the pebbly white stuff in a flat sheet right? They sell that as sound proofing (much cheaper - use it for building up hills) The stuff I use is Extruded Polystyrene Insulation.
For price comparisons. The pink/blue stuff I use both go for (after taxes) approx. $25 CDN$ for a 2ft x8ft sheet 2in thick. That would be about £13. (2'x8'=16sq.ft. so $1.56/ft or £0.85) Your stuff Celotex is (6'x6'=36sq.ft. so $1.33/ft or £0.72)
Damn skippy, 40kchaoslord. Hey pbdude735; take a look at some of his older vids, and then catch up. Guarantee you become a kamloopian convert, too. And hey, brother, don't ever ease up on your "ehs." the world is becoming too homogonized as it is. Embrace your canadianness!
i love your terrain and progects but talk louder plz

In Ontario, Canada you can get the high density foam insulation at Rona. Just speak to one of the guys at the contracting desk.

Sometimes if you speak to the guys out in the yard they'll just give you the broken ones.
The Rona here only sells the blue foam and the Home Depot sells the pink.
