  • JP was a great musician and such a nice guy.

There has been a huge vacuum since his demise.

  • Both Roy and Joe got such beautiful tones on this cd. I would have asked for songs other than Hank Williams but that's just me. I once took a lesson from Joe and he advised me "not to play cowboy chords" so it's interesting that he did this project with Roy. I wish they would have done more together...wonder if Roy would have been interested in doing a CD with Joe taking the lead on some old jazz standards. Glad this was captured on video...well done!

  • He IS the conductor!

  • What a joy it is to hear these masters, all five of them.Every minute is a lesson

  • whats roys guitar

  • @waitaminute991 Looks like a Heritage Byrdland copy. Heritage is the old Gibson factory in Kalamazoo and the Byrdland Roy prefers has a short scale of 22+ inches.

  • @waitaminute991 Heritage Roy Clarke Signature

  • not being a" PRIMA DONNA" is the key to sucsess. keep humble and listen to others.

  • Very tasty!

  • Oh, this is really a pleasure listening too!

These two guys were amazing! Miss musicians like them.

  • Man this stuff mellows me out, kinda like a brain message.

  • You ARE the Maestro Joe. We miss you like no one will ever know man. Rest safe Joe.

  • @BattyCuss I miss him...

  • What a great combo.

These two complement each other so well.

    Like Lester and Chester.

  • ...or Merle Travis & Joe Maphis.

Doesn't hurt having John Pisano in there, either. I GOTTA get this album.

  • Great
