Interesting how today, when the mainstream thinks of kicking, they stereotypically think of Asian fighting (and lots of Asian styles, like wing chun, emphasize hands more.) Yet back then, it was Boxe Francais/Savate that captured the public's imagination when it came to kick fighting.
