  • So do you find that your hair is healthy/growing even with blow drying?

  • @TheBamagrl90 I do!! I only blow dry once a week or every two weeks...more of the latter in the summer because I can't hold a style with the humidity, and I don't use hair spray...so I only wash/blowdry/flat iron twice a month...if you find that blow drying is too harsh for you, you can air dry. Check out hairliciousinc's channel for some tips on air drying...xoxo

  • @ajannasmom hey I plan on getting some Nu gro products soon and I would like to know, as a soon to be first time user what hair moisturizer is best to be used first? From the three you showed. I'm gonna get the shampoo, conditioner and spray but I wanna know wht creme would you recommend for a first time user like myself who wants long healthy hair? Thanks

  • @dominsmith Hey! I think it really depends on how you want to wear your hair. The olive oil based hair oil (grease) is very thick and after two days, you can't do much with your hair, but it works. The coconut oil based oil is a little less thick, and the pretroleum free is super light.

  • U showed 3 different greases. Which one works the best. Im not worried about how heavy it will make my hair. I just need it back healthy. Which do u suggest works the best?

  • @christinahanible I'm sorry, I thought I was clear. I used the olive oil based hair oil in the beginning to get the thickness back in my hair.

  • wow.....i cannot wait to get my products

  • @aarrone99 I think you're gonna love em!

  • I have to google Co-washing! What the heck is it??? LOL I am a hair stylist and have never heard of that. *shrugging* I also wanted to let you know that you put me up on Nu Gro. i use the oils (I've mixed a couple together into my own concoction) to use when I braid a client for a sew in. When I tell you that their hair is BEAUTIFUL when I take that sew in out a 6 wks later! OMG... thanks for your regimen videos.

  • @NikkinuMrsPooBear Welll....from my understanding, it's when you use conditioner to wash your hair instead of shampoo...hmmmm...yeah...*shrugging* too. I'm so glad that the nugro is working for your clients...I loooove that you're concocting...I tell people all the time, make things your own!!! I'm so happy that you're enjoying my videos...and please in the future (hoping your'e a subbie) if as a pro have any input, please put it in!! LOL...thank you soo much for watching my vids!

  • @carribean19 Absolutely no way. LOL...I don't do it, so I really don't have an opinion about it. Have you tried it?

  • what nu-gro products should you use if you have braids like the olive oil or spray or what.

  • @cuti31395 Yes, try the moisturizing spray and also the olive oil, you can put that right on your scalp.

  • got me checking to see if i have shark teeth goin on lol

  • @333jojob LOL...stop, I'm sure you don't!!

  • DID WEARING YOU HAIR IN A PONYTAIL DAMAGE YOUR HAIR? I ALWAYS WEAR MY HAIR IN A PONYTAIL AND I'M WONDERING IF IT'S THE REASON WHY MY HAIR IS SHEDDING SO BAD. I HAVE ALSO NOTICE THAT MY HAIR IS NOT THICK AS IT ONCE WAS

  • @KELKEYFUL Well, when I was younger, yes, cause I would put the holder sooooo tight to get that super slicked down look. Now, I just twist it two, three times MAX, so the strain is less on my hair. My hair was shedding and my stylist said it was maybe age, the weather...blah blah blah, but once I started using the nugro, my thickness came back...so perhaps it's a combo for you too?? What have you tried? send me a message.

  • Love your videos. I watch them so often. Must say I have learned a lot from you. As it relates to the nu-gro oil free spray, you say you use this mostly on your scalp, do you use it everyday or about two to three times per week?

  • @Mslecia27 thank you thank you for watching my videos...I try to use the spray at least twice a week. you just have to be careful because it has a lot of alcohol in it which is drying for your actual hair...

  • Hi ajannasmom: How do you use the oil free and the oil based spray, and how frequently?

  • @Mslecia27 Hey MsLecia! I use the oil free on my scalp mostly and the regular moisturizing spray all over. But...the regular can be heavy, so I don't curl my hair after I've used it.

  • love how you describe the shampoo! LOL

  • @wetmonkey79 lol

  • hey. I love you videos. your hair is gorgeous! but i have a question as well- i use to have long hair to the middle of my back. The beginning of this year i cut it becasue i wanted something different. And now obviously i want it back. lol I have really naturally dry hair. so sometimes i have breakage. The Nu-Gro seemed to work wonders on your hair! which products can i use to get my hair healthier?

  • @Miceeta63 Hey Miceeta!! Thank you so much!! Ok, first, girl you better find you a short wig or half wig next time you need a change...lol. Next, I would suggest the moisturizing shampoo and dry hair formula conditioner. If your hair gets really dry, I would suggest the moisturizing spray. It's kinda heavy though, like the grease. I wouldn't suggest heat styling if you're using it. Send me a message if you have more ??s we can get into more detail over 500 characters xoxo

  • Hi, I have a question for you: What do you recommend for women like me who can't keep their hair wrapped up at night? I'm a wild sleeper and I have tried just about every type of wrap and when I wake up in the morning, the wrap is in my bed. The only way I can keep a wrap on is to stick a bunch of pins in my hair which is uncomfortable to sleep in and pulls my hair out in the process. Help please!

  • @TheLilacshimmer Hi sweetie. My daughter is the same way. I have a couple of tips. Two wraps...maybe a stretchy one and a satin scarf...and then a satin pillow case. With just the pillow case, you're not going to maintain the bump, but at least you alleviate the breakage.

  • ajannasmom, I would like to get the nu-gro what products what do you suggest that I get. I went to the website I did'nt see the creme on the site. I was thinking about the petroleum free products.

  • @lady2detroit1 Hmmm, depends on the state of your hair. Send me a private message and tell me about your hair, I'll give you my opinion :)

  • Thank you so much for the video, the information was very helpful. I am going to order nu gro and I will let u know how it goes. Again thank u so much

  • @shwoods07 Thank you so much for watching...please do keep me informed!! Don't forget to use coupon code 'dynamite' for your 10% off!!

  • I really luv ur videos on hair and I waz wondering if u could make a video on blow drying hair because I tend to have a problem with blow drying. Thnxs :-)

  • @meaganangel97 Hi sweetie, I don't really have a technique for blowdrying, I kinda wing it, but I sure will work on one for you!!

  • i strted usin tha nu gro but i dnt kno how often to pt it in because tha jar says daily bt i wnt my scalp to breath

  • @LOLSMILYFAC3 When I first started using it, I did use it daily...but now, I only use the grease every few weeks. Now, I use the petruleum free weekly. I don't like to weigh my hair down either.

  • Hi,I like the way you explained how the nugro has helped...I wanted to know the name of the site to go to? I will check out more of your videos.God Bless

  • hey, I put it in the sidebar, can't put it here...

  • yes it is wonderful i have tonsss of growth and yes mega tek is very drying but girl it has worked

  • ahhh, ok..cool

  • THANKYOU, Ajannasmom

  • hi,do you use the conditiong shampoo in one, and which one do you use the super hair oil ,or professional?

  • Hey, yes, the 2 in 1 and the professional.

  • I was wondering how nugrow works on thin edges... I am trying to find that one product that goes well with my hair.... I like trying new products just like you mentionned but I recently went back to using motions. Would it be wise to get something like a hair oil from nugrow for those edges. Thank You

  • I did have an issue at the front of my hair where I felt like it was thinning or receeding...that's gone now...I would say why not try it?! I had think edges at one time too because I was big on the braids back in the day. I used something called don't b bald, the grease, I think the container was blue. That worked very well for me too...

  • Hi ajannasmom!

Your hair looks like my sister's -- very strong & healthy looking. I'm growing out my hair from a very short cut, & I try to wrap it nightly, but I find the scarf always off & on my pillow or on the floor the next day. Do you have any suggestions? Or products to recommend that will help keep the scarf on? thanks!

  • Thank you so much!! I'm working on it...

My daughter has the same problem, we tried everything, but her scarf kept falling off. What she does now, in addition to the satin pillow case that I bought for her...is wrap her hair with her scarf, and then use a hair wrap. We have big heads lol...so the ones we use are from our local salon. They say Ridoc on them. But your local salon should have them, they look like half moons and have a velcro closure. I'll send you the link...

  • This is my regimen.I wash my hair once a week.I use the the oil free spray/moisturizer then seal with the hair oil.I use to do this 2 times a day.Just recently I started back using the moisturizer and using all the products and trying to get back in to twice a day.I need to order more products.I need to give it one more try and possibly add in another product from them that I never used.Like the temple balm, and coconut oil. What do you think since you use the coconut oil..

  • Hmmm, the oil free has a lot of alcohol in it...that with your blowdryer on high may be causing some excessive dryness. I try not to use the oil free too much, but I think that should be used sparingly and on your scalp as opposed to your actual hair. Double check with Nu-gro though to be sure. If u can, I would stick with the hair oil twice a day if u're not really 'styling' it, and the moisturizing spray. I like the coconut oil. Not as heavy as the origiinal. Try it again, and keep me posted!!

  • I am using the nugro..I like it overall but I am still not seeing my balding area fill in..It just may take a while. How long have you been using the products? Also can you do a tutorial or a video of how you use it daily.Maybe I am doing something wrong.I love the thickness in your hair and mines. That is the other reason I used the products.I just subbed to you so i will be watching.Lol..

  • Hey hon. I don't know that there's a specific rule 2 using the products, I think it's more about consistancy. I stayed very consistant with the heavy hair oil daily, sometimes 2x a day, but cuz my hair is relaxed, I couldn't do anything with it, so I wore ponytails or wigs for 2 mos,til I had the thickness that I wanted. That's wut I used Nu-gro for re-thickening my hair, not 4 growth. I used the moisturizing spray daily, & shampoo & conditioner weekly. That's really it. I'll work on a vid 4 u .

  • Also...even tho I wasn't concerned with growth, I feel like it did help with that too!!

  • That 's the definition of dead. Your skin does shrink as it the water of your body evaporates, so it may look like your hair is longer, but it no longer grows. If only the rest of getting hair to look the way you want it too was so simple...lol

  • AGREED!!! LOL....

  • First, your hair is beautiful. I'm going to look into those products. Second, I do wish people would stop telling this old wive's tale about your hair growing after you're dead. Your hair requires proper circulation to grow, the nutrients supplied by your blood, and respiration (the influx of oxygen, removal of carbon dioxide). When you die, all those functions cease.

  • thank you!!! Ohhhh....really? I didn't know that, you taught me something...lol....makes sense...

  • This was very helpful. I may have to give nu gro a second chance. I've used the grease for two months, and didn't get the grow i wanted, so maybe i should try all the products b4 i give up on them.

  • Hey Coco...really??? What was your regimen, were you diligent? I ALWAYS start something and never finish...lol...I really wanted my thickness to come back though, so I really used only these products every day...

  • Thnksss ! Glad Yew Made This Video.... See People Told Me DooGrow , Was The Best . But Now , I Hear Nu Grow... Guess Im Going to Start Using Nu Grow.

  • Hi sweetie...I've used do grow too...it was ok, but nothing has worked for me like Nu-Gro. Good luck, make sure you keep me up to date...take before and after pics!!
