@Verma21panjab I am an ex student of this great Uni. Only Main campus is of 704 Acres, en thats too in Capital of Pak. then there is old campus which is separate from this and three hostels (Kuwait Hostel, Hostel 5 and hostel 6) are not included in this. they are also very big. the video was made in 2007. this university has more than 50 buses for student, how many your school has got?number of Bus drivers of this university is much more than total teachers of your school.lolz

BUT my school has more than150 branches all over india if we accumulate them all then ur uni is too small. my school has a capacity of 2000 student per school so combined 2000*150==3 lakh much greater than ur only my school has 14 buses so add all 150*14==2100 buses .we have 4 coed hostel for boy and girls per school. u didnt study wid books book we studied online. no school bags . any  thing u want to know

@mour66 well buddy this is uni, which usually do not have branches...if you do not know..secondly there are hundreds of school like that in pakistan which have even 300 branches all over pakistan and will be much much larger than your school. then look at the size of your population then compare it. the biggest indian university is Lovely professional university in punjab, and has only 600 acres, this islamic university is much larger than that. Punjab uni in lahore is even bigger than that.

i donot think its the fact..... if pakistani institutions are breeding Talibans than u r one among them.. i studied from iiui and recently finished my MPA degree at University of Canberra Australia. IIUI degree did not have any bad effect on my reputation, infact it makes me Proud to be an Islamian. by the way most of IIUI faculty members are graduate from foreign Universities even many have done their PHD's from overseas but the good thing is tht they did not balme their homeland institutions.

@phaysal111 I got my degree from IIUI, 2nd degree from Australia and 3rd from Norway. I always show my degree everywhere and get exemption too. i never had any problem. I love IIUi, its one of the best Uni in Pak. unlike godalgee, i would recommend everyone to IIUI. It has everything to offer. why someone calls it a madrassah?just because it dosnt have co-edu? then you frustrated. thats it..Best Uni, love you IIUI...

It is because Islam is the way of life. If you do not believe in Islam as it is then it is your problem but please be polite with females especially on public forums. Do not show to us as to how you were raised and taught by your elders. Be nice. It is not just Islamic way but is also appreciated by any good soul regardless of his or her religion.

it used to be islamic before, the faculty of islamic studies was very good. but now, they eliminated alot of islamic subjects, and they finished specialization in usuluddin. since i am a student of Usuluddin, i know what is going on in this faculty. i have six subjects in this semester: Computer, Maths, English, Arabic, Science of Quran and Science of Hadith.

is that what supposed to be taught for students of Usuluddin??????

i dont have any objection on adding other subjects to islamic studies. but just because they want us to learn about modern sciences doesnt mean that they have to take our islamic subjects from us.

and there is something fishy about this, why they did so? they never gave us a convincing answer. i can't forget how rude and uneducated Anwar Siddiqi acted when we went to talk to him about this issue. i wish i would've made a video of him at that time and put it on youtube. i really missed that!!

Thats OK Zainab. You weren't rude ..you r entitled to have an opinion on how the Uni is run as a student of the Uni itself. I'm a former student of IIUI and live in Australia now. I downloaded this video from the IIUI website to put it up here for promotion of the Uni. I think its much better to have a Uni like this rather than having Madrasahs where modern education is not imparted to the students along with the religious education which I think is the need of the hour.

Sorry bro! I dont know about this but I do think that some scenes are taken from somewhere else. For example the one where boys and girls are sitting together cannot be from Islamic University. It's a shame if they have used it from CIIT as you mentioned.
