This is a nice engine inline 6 rules...here in Germany we have the 1969 Opel Commodore A GS and A GS/E 2.8 inline 6 they are very nice cars too...inline 6 engines have better vibration contraol than V engines so you can have a lot of fun with them..to my eras they sound better than V engines.
Probably the best I-6 of its' era. Good low end grunt, didn't get asthmatic on the high end and virtually bulletproof. Shame Chrysler didn't morph it to an OHC configuration- - BMW would have had nightmares.
@usm7j yes chrystler should just put an ohc cam /head setup on that engine and gave it multi-port fuel injection or just gave it a factory overhaul like jeep did with there 258 or 4.0ltr il6's
