  • High time to give support to an excellent new generation of marvelous musicians..Brantelid is stunning...

  • Everytime I lack the inspiration to start practising after having finished a project i come back to listening to Andreas Brantelid and somehow forget my problems. A thing about breathing, I often find myself forgetting to breath out while being nervous, and now I am experimenting with using the pauses to breath out (sound stupid i know), which has helped me alot.

Keep loving the music Andreas, I hope I can play some duet with you again soon :D Mattias Hanskov the bassplayer here btw

  • This is simply beautiful. What an amazing talent! Who cares if you can hear him breathe when he plays like he does...not me anyway.

  • Wonderful to hear how he breathes, to get a sense of the body as well

  • annoying that he breath so loudly

  • @mikkelvonberg Haha! He is the Glenn Gould of cellist. Great!

  • very nice! that right hand elbow is so high! but it sounds great, nevertheless. much better than nicolas on bach.

  • really good...thanks for posting it..

  • Awesome! Why did he use another down bow on the last note instead of an up bow? Everything else he did made good sense. I really like his interpretation.

  • I would assume he did a down bow on the last note so he could have a very natural decay on the last note.

  • It would be nice not to break the last two notes. It's really just one thought, not two.

  • hihi i was there :D

  • Han är helt otrolig. Vilken musik han skapar, inlevelse och helhet.

  • Meget smukt.

  • Brilliant! Fantastisk!
