  • You are right it is cheaper to build a pushrods 302 it's just not easier to build over 500hp out of a push rod 302 compared to a dohc 302. But again I do give my apolagys if I came across as a prick and offensive, that was not intended, so I'm verry sorry.

  • The info I gave you about the guy that ran 11.50 with the new 302, was only making 410hp at the wheels. The other guy wich worked for JPC ran high tens. And that was with the 2011 mustang, that car made 500hp at the tires, the other guy I told you about in the first sentence that ran 11.5 had a fox mustang with the new 302 in it. Search fox body coyote, and you will see the vid he smokes a new 2012 boss, sorry if I offended you I wasn't meaning to just to let ya know, and you are right it is ch

  • Wow, nice fox. Get this baby hooked up on the bottle!

  • Oh I did I forget to say you can also drive it anny whare you want, all day long, trust me man I'm not trying to be an ass I'm just trying to give a little info to ya and mayby save ya some money.

  • JPC performance has gotton 500hp to the tire at 7500 rpm, with mods such as stage 1 cams, stage 1 porting and all the exhaust tricks, and a custom tune, and suspension mods, dude I can go on and on forever, point being is you will have an easier time getting 500+ horse power out of the new 302 compared to the old style 302, and don't even have to stroke it to do it.

  • Don't take my word for it just go do some home work, I've been doing my home work on this new 302 for almost a year now, one guy bought it and put it in a fox stang, and with just long tubes, and a basic tune, and a regular intake manifold, and basic cold air intake, and I believe a 2.5 inch exhaust, he did 11.5 seconds with drag radials and did not hook up real good. I still have more to tell ya.

  • Nothing against you, but it's obvious you don't know nothing about the new 302, but let me give you a little education, the new 302's are easy to get 500hp, just by putting the new boss 302 manifold on it, long tube headers, cold air intake, custom tune, and a 3 inch exhoust system, don't even have to change the cams, but if you do you will be over 500.

  • @lions66666

Please don't insult us as you clearly didn't understand the point of my previous post about the Coyote motors. I know exactly what mods and how much power you can make with them. POINT was that the precision pushrods we build are much cheaper and faster than the conversion PERIOD. IF you read your own post, you've listed more money in mods to get the stock COYOTE motor to 500 HP than we spend building a pushrod stroker. Furthermore your buddy ran 11.50's we ran 10's.

  • You guys have plans yet to build one of the new DOHC 302 coyote moters yet, and put it into a fox body mustang.

  • @lions66666

No plans with the new coyote as of yet. It's too easy to get these little pushrod motors to zing 8k rpm and make 500+ HP without any power adders. For the cost of the new Coyote Set Up and then modifying it or adding boost to get to 500 HP it just isn't efficient. It would be nice to see one, but it would be a high dollar build and commitment for the customer!

  • aftermarket block? or just a stock 302 block?

  • @fourwheelerjock

It is the stock block, however we've machined it for aftermarket Milodon Billet Main Caps and Matching Milodon Billet Main Cap Girdle. It also has a very light (Probe Ultralight) Rod and Piston Combo on a Forged Crank. With all Titanium Valvetrain and Probe Shaft Mount Rockers she's set to buzz 8,000 RPM all day! Check out the vids of her at the track running 10's all motor!

  • @THRstang hpw much u pay for tht lightweight combination? and makeing the milodon billet main caps? building 347 soon with afr 185cc heads as well

  • @fourwheelerjock

stock block but we machined the mains to accept the Milodon Billet Main Cap Conversion and their matching Billet Main Support (Girdle) System with ARP Main Bolts. Quality of Components and precision balancing is a must for these to live at that RPM/HP level. Let us know if you need a quote. Thanks!

  • Beautiful setup, sounds good!!!

  • sick dude sounds strong very nice coup.

  • what you runinng for heads???

  • @bbsombs

Running out of the box AFR 185's with no port work. We did respring them with Titanium Retainers, 10 deg locks, and custom springs to handle the sick cam we custom ground for this set up. It's a .700+ lift grind for our 7,000+ RPM Small Blocks.

  • @THRstang sweet sweet im maken a 347 now just trying to get some ideas

whats the compression on yr motor??

  • @bbsombs

This one was 11:1 to run on pump gas if needed. We usually run it on 100+ octane to protect against detonation with the crazy 8,000 rpm shifts! Let us know if you need any ideas/help with the 347 project.

  • is it open headers?

  • god blessed both of you

  • Beautiful car... Sounds Awesome, gotta love American Muscle

  • How long do you usually let it run with out the radiator hoses and also what is the hose going from power steering or what ever it is to the valve cover acting as a vacuum of some sort, besides you don't even have it hooked up??

  • Not more than a couple minutes as this was just to get some heat in the motor on a new set up. The hose was the vacuum pump, which was being installed, hence having the other hoses off for easier access to the pulley/brackets for this new set up. It's required with hi compression hi rpm motors.

  • Muy bueno, excelente!

  • Sounds Rank Dude
