Man, sound effects from the original Crysis have been massively improved in the console port. The gun sounds were so puny in Crysis 1. Love the new suit sounds as well; wish they could upload an improved sound pack or something for Crysis 1 on the pc.

I do inverted y axis and southpaw. also I am lefty & a southpaw boxer but it has nothing to do with why I play games like that, it's from playing shooters on nintendo 64 (the only joystick was on the left)

I have this on ps3 too and noticed the lack of movement in the foilage but it's actually only on certain levels. Other levels the palm trees are swaying about nicely. I also noticed how everything is over saturated so reduced the colour tone on my tv which makes it look much nicer and more realistic.
I still dont understand retards both consoles are old but ps3 id newer and costs a little more so but xbox is coming to the end of its console life faster then ps3 . This is by far the best downloadable ps3 game available. And it was the best $20 i've ever spent on a game. The graphics are amazing the gameplay is great and it runs beautiful except for the enemy Ai at times doing the 2 step, which is funny more than annoying. its better than 2 but i like the jungle environment VS the city.

This is a fantastic shooter, and I'm amazed how good the console ports turned out. It looks and pls fantastic. They even kept the destructibility in. You can shoot down the trees just like in the pc version!
Umm...didn't the leaves and such sway every time you walked by them on the PC version? they seem to look like standard transparent foliage like in most games...
I got it on ps3 and let it download overnight, started playing at about 4:00pm today... just finished (10:00pm)! Such a great game, I'll definitely play through it a few more times :D
@RalphCQ Black Ops and Halo are both available on the PC. Also, you can adjust sensitivity on consoles, so the analog sticks aren't a problem. Plus, when you have a PC, you can only run in two speeds: slow or fast. With an analog stick, you're able to move precisely.

@SefirothPH Not bullshit, it really happened. Keyboard and mouse is much better for FPS's, much faster turning and aiming. You still don't think so, look up videos of PC gameplay from an FPS, and compare it to videos of the same game on console.
I actually have a wireless Xbox360 controller for my PC, it's better for some games. But for FPS's, keyboard/mouse is the best. The PS3 actually does support keyboard and mouse input, and with some modding, it can even be used for games.
@SefirothPH btw you console guys also have "auto-aim" in your fps's. PC's don't have autoaim. CryTek put auto-aim in Crysis 2 at launch for PC, and it pissed off a lot of PC gamers. We don't need it.
Was dissapointed in this game, i think this game was very over rated, played crysis 2 first and beat it, then found out this came out on psn so i snagged it.
stealth sucks, was prone position behind a rock and enemies on other side said i see him, meter drains too fast, really the only thing that i loved about this game was the enviroments and the physics.
Throwing people and objects is much more realistic in crysis 1, like some objects actually have weight, crysis 2 throwing objects wasnt fun.

I melee a potted plant somewhere there in that area. After I hit it, I lagged for a moment. It was kinda interesting and surprising at the same time. Other than that, I'm having blast playing this on my PS3. Sometimes I have no idea what to do when I come across a small camp/base which is cool on my part.

@misterhoobomaster cryengine 3 was built for all platforms and they utilized it for consoles?.......in 2007 when crysis was released, it was said it is exclusive for pc coz of its high demanding graphical need and consoles wont be able to handle it, in crysis 2 i barely notice difference bet settings, all looks fuckin same,it looks good but orignal crysis,and warhead especially were better, pc gaming is good, but i still prefer my ps3 coz of exclusives.crysis was reason i got alienware,

This is a fantastic shooter, and I'm amazed how good the console ports turned out. It looks and pls fantastic. They even kept the destructibility in. You can shoot down the trees just like in the pc version!

I got it on ps3 and let it download overnight, started playing at about 4:00pm today... just finished (10:00pm)! Such a great game, I'll definitely play through it a few more times :D

@RalphCQ Black Ops and Halo are both available on the PC. Also, you can adjust sensitivity on consoles, so the analog sticks aren't a problem. Plus, when you have a PC, you can only run in two speeds: slow or fast. With an analog stick, you're able to move precisely.

They must have gotten pretty shitty console players. I don't know about you, but I've played with some pretty goddamn tough people online who could easily massacre people of, "lower skill" on a PC

@SefirothPH Not bullshit, it really happened. Keyboard and mouse is much better for FPS's, much faster turning and aiming. You still don't think so, look up videos of PC gameplay from an FPS, and compare it to videos of the same game on console.
I actually have a wireless Xbox360 controller for my PC, it's better for some games. But for FPS's, keyboard/mouse is the best. The PS3 actually does support keyboard and mouse input, and with some modding, it can even be used for games.

@SefirothPH btw you console guys also have "auto-aim" in your fps's. PC's don't have autoaim. CryTek put auto-aim in Crysis 2 at launch for PC, and it pissed off a lot of PC gamers. We don't need it.

Was dissapointed in this game, i think this game was very over rated, played crysis 2 first and beat it, then found out this came out on psn so i snagged it.
stealth sucks, was prone position behind a rock and enemies on other side said i see him, meter drains too fast, really the only thing that i loved about this game was the enviroments and the physics.
Throwing people and objects is much more realistic in crysis 1, like some objects actually have weight, crysis 2 throwing objects wasnt fun.

I melee a potted plant somewhere there in that area. After I hit it, I lagged for a moment. It was kinda interesting and surprising at the same time. Other than that, I'm having blast playing this on my PS3. Sometimes I have no idea what to do when I come across a small camp/base which is cool on my part.
