A separate indictment charged Shabudin and Yu with securities fraud, conspiracy, falsifying corporate books and records, and lying to auditors.

The reporter is right, Congress (Kucinich included) horribly failed to direct the bailout money, to force transparency, etc (there shouldn't have been bailouts in the first place). Banks should be looking out for themselves, they are not a part of the state, so I can't blame them for investing overseas where there are better opportunities. Is it any coincidence banks like Citi are coming out and saying they made profit in Jan and Feb?

I agree, except that Kucinich did not vote for TARP and was completely against the bill at the time. Ron Paul on the Republican side was also against the bill. Those two have lead the fight to try and make sure the money gets spent in a more productive manner. I believe they deserve our support. I also think that is very disingenuous that Congress, in general, acts like they are so disgusted with how the money is being spent. They knew damn good and well this would be abused.

The legal system prosecutes drug dealers for murder if they knowingly sell deadly drugs to unsuspecting users and they use them and die.
