  • Thats100% trust. I love it. And nice colors

  • thats a pretty lizard

  • nice setup bud iv just finished 1 my self vid on my youtube page have a peep let me know wot u think

  • They can't recognize glass as a solid, thats not it trying to get out, thats it tryin to move past the glass. Thats how they develop nose rub which can result in infection, broken jaws, and death. You need to cover up the bottom of the glass atleast 6 inches so they see its a solid.

  • this means he wants u to hold him more

  • she so pretty ;)

  • how old is she and how did you get her so tamed?

  • @NINPHMTDS By the time of the video, she was 3 years old. She is now 5 ½ years old. I got her at 6 months old. Small sessions every day is the key, at first, only reach inside and pet for several minutes, and go to the next step only when the lizard is comfortable with each of your actions. Next step is to scoop it and let it flat on your hand while not moving, still inside the terrarium.

  • @NINPHMTDS Next is getting her out and moving around with it, etc. Some steps might be achieved quickly, while others will take several months. Short taming session often and perseverance and calm are the key.

  • @Vivementvert thanks for the reply. i want to say mine is 3 months, i have had it for 2 and i think it was a month old when i got it. it will let me pet it on a daily basis. and once in awhile let me pick it up. at night i can pick it up with ease and it will crawl up my arm. if you get a min can u post a new vid to show how big yers has gotten. thanks again for the help!!!!!!

  • nice that you letted her out^^

  • That is a male Water Dragon By the way.

  • @subarusown Im pretty sure thats a female, caus i got a male and its younger than this one yet its much more bigger and those things on its back are huge. I have bad english so cant describe well lol

  • @0darkTunes You have to look at the shape of the head. If I could see the bottom side of it's hind legs I could tell you for sure. Since I have a Male. He is only about a year and a half old. With Males they will have several small dots in a line on their hind legs. If they don't have the spots it is a female.

  • Beautiful waterdragon. She looks like one I had years ago, only a little bit bigger. Unfortunately she died in july 2006 when she was taking a bath in her terrarium. That was extremely painful.... Waterdragons can easily become close friends so it really gets to you when they pass away.

But the fun memories will never be forgotten.

  • @spjuit she died while taking a bath?

  • @milldabeast519

Yes. Bad moment to die because her eyes where red and had "rolled up" so it looked like she was looking straight at me.

She did'nt drown, there where not much water in her tub.

  • @spjuit so ur not sure what happened. i have seen water dragons pass out in water and roll over from the chlorine before.died from old age then? i had one swim down the toilet on me and never come back up

  • @milldabeast519

Yes I think she was getting old. She was "only" ~10 years old but she had become kind of grey in the skin. The typhical signs of age. There was nothing with the water, we cleaned it before we put it in the tub.

Holy shit. :S What a nightmare to loose a pet in that way. I will never let my iguanababy come near the toilet.

  • @spjuit i had a 11 year old male die this year, i think he had mbd 99% sure but its wasnt severe. he had a lump in his jaw i think a siss of somsort abcess maybe . the vet gave him some medicine and x rayd his head said he didnt see any signs of mbd and nothing unusual even though it had a grape size lump it its jaw. it went away slowly then got real hard and prevented him from opening his mouth from pain i assume , then got lathergic stop eating after 300$ at vet they wanted another 600$ to...

  • @spjuit ship away for a cat scan i think they said, they also wanted to do another full body x ray this time instead of just the head.... so i ended up putting him down before i spent 600+$ at the time i put him down he wouldnt even lift his head and barely open his eyes and they wanted me 2 drop a morgage payment down for TEST not medicine , i doubt he would of even made it through the tests. it seemed like they just wanted money....,

  • @milldabeast519

Does'nt sound like the best vets... They should'nt care about anything else than the animals wellfare.

But I have experienced pretty much the same thing. With my first iguana. He got sick -> bled from his mouth and could'nt eat -> his tail died and started to rotten -> I had to put him down. The vets where to optimistic and said that it was'nt that bad and gave me recipes for 4-5 different medicines. That helped with killing him.

  • @spjuit i know a person that works at 4 different vets in town and the owers are all money and buiss if a employ goes out of there way to help smbdy make it more affordable they have to keep it hush hush from the owners or they will not be happy.

  • @milldabeast519

I'm glad it does'nt work that way here in Sweden. But it's still way too expensive.... Petowners should feel that it's worth it to go to the vet.

  • 1:15 what was in that cage in the background amazing cwd i got mine about a week ago and my male jumps around everywhere and whenever your not watching him he would get mad while my female is in the back looking at him like why did i get caged together with this goof

  • @lizardcentral There are tree trunk pieces that have been fixed to the background wall so she could climb up to the second floor of the terrarium. She uses them alot, I recommend something similar so your dragon will have to build some muscles as he ages.

  • hey I have a water dragon too and I was wondering how to sex them its lips are kinda starting to go light blue so I think he may be a male but I dont know send me a response if you can thx

  • You cannot sex them before 1½ to 2 years of age with any certainty. It's all about slight morphological differences. Type Sexing your Chinese water dragon on google to find Tricia's Water Dragon website page on sexing. She lists several physical cues. Then, look for male pictures and females pictures of them on google. The more you will see, the more your eye will get familiar and eventually it will be easy to tell apart sexually mature specimens. :)

  • @hiscelticprincess blue lips wont tell u anything. if there going bright pink then it may be a male but the physical features come out before its male colours. can u see pores? tail shape and head shape are the easiest signs triangular shaped heads and tails.

  • I hope mine looks like yours when it grows up. I got mine three days ago. Mines all hyper and jumpy which is sometimes a bad thing cuz it jumps off the log right into the glass -.- so I covered the tank a little so it knows he can't go thru it haha

  • Haha for 10 seconds shes like "Its too good to be true, Its too good to be true"

  • @PBJwithTat Yeah it looks like so :)

  • wow really pretty water dragon mine always a buthole and claws the heck out me

  • Make sure if this behavour proceeds place something like repticarpet on the doors they can get severe rub nose which can kill them this way, just a tip :D but he's still a very beautiful dragon and you're doing extremely well

  • thats a male water dragon by the way

  • i think it wants to go out..lololol

  • she's beautiful! glad to see you didn't let her just jump out onto the floor :]

  • wont she bite you?

  • So cute!! She's a little doll!!

  • nice dragon but i would say you need a bigger tank

  • what kind of tank do u have

  • mine does that lol

  • Nice!

  • Wow ! BEAUTIFUL !

  • Thank you

  • then take her out

  • That's the point :)

  • how old is she?

  • 2 1/2 years

  • @Vivementvert hey how long would a 36 x 18 x 18 last a CWD?

  • @Rampage19867 Anywhere up to 2 years I would say. After they are getting sexually mature (1½ years to 2 years) it's important for them to have lots of height to climb and get good muscle tonus as they age, and a 36 x 18 x 18 would be too small past 1½ to offer enough space to roam around, so streching it to 2 years is the maximum.

  • how do you have the doors to slide open?

  • lmfao do they not have the new sliding door on a track technology in your shit corner of the world?

  • You're awesome, I love you.

  • once my bearded dragon gets bigger seeings it is still a baby i will let it run around

  • i was a bit scared of my beardie running off but once i got used to where she wanted to go, normally just by the window, i was confident enough to let her go round freely.

ive got a lazy dragon and she likes to sunbathe mostly, its good the first time you watch them run around though :P

  • shes so cute you should so my baby water dragon on my channel i have a few vids of him and his cage check them out ;)
